Práctico para una estancia breve

Very negative experience, and no privacy!

I liked that it was in a good location, and in close distance to nearby things to do.

To start with, there were hairs on the bathroom counter first walking in! The window in the bathroom also had a curtain that did not cover the entire window. The neighbors at the house next door have a camera angling toward the bathroom, and it was very uncomfortable especially with the curtains not covering the entire window. The same issue occurred with the curtains next to the bed! They are literally TOO SMALL to fit the entire window frame, and there is no privacy as anyone can see into the bedroom especially because the room we had was located on the street side. We had to hang a blanket so no one could see into our room! Not to mention the TV wasn’t working. DO NOT waste your money staying here.

If you close your eyes at night, it's no different than staying at the Ritz.

Cheap central place to stay, just needed a place to sleep.

Ware and tear on the place is visible, shower head is low, got super cold inside at night.

Very dated motel in a great location

Close to activities, beach and restaurants . Had a kitchen with stove,half refrigerator, and microwave. Comfortable beds.

Not very clean. Furnishings seemed very worn stained. Toilet was broken. Ants in bathroom. Pool inoperable. Flat pillows.

Great Get-Away

The location is absolutely perfect. Nice recreation room. Close to the beach, stores, activities, and restaurants. Most everything is within walking distance.

The beds were a bit too firm. Not as comfortable as we would have liked. Swimming pool was not usable.

The property manager was very welcoming. I like how he had us make sure everything in the room was good during check in. He also suggested a great breakfast place!

Ok if you just need a bed for the night.

Ok if you just want somewhere to sleep in King's Beach. Spacious room, but rooms are dated, towels were stained, bathroom taps dirty, smell of old smoke in the room. Standards need to be lifted.

Old with limited functionality. The host was the only good thing.

Host as welcome and helpful. He have is en suite bedrooms when he saw that we had a small child. Conveniently located close to the shore.

This is very old and has not been update since the 60s. The heating took a lot of elbow grease to work. Cleanliness was also so-so. I should have cot half as much but they can get away with it since prices at Tahoe have skyrocketed.

Wonderful location, disappointing otherwise

The location here is excellent if you want to be able to walk everywhere in Kings Beach. It is very affordable for how close it is to the beach. It was surprisingly quiet at night (white noise from the fan helped I'm guessing). Good sized bathroom area and adequate mini fridge.

This is a tacky, very run down motel. Everything is dated, and not in a good way. It could be so cute with new furnishings, paint, deep cleaning - the entire place needs a face lift badly. The pool and spa were closed with no explanation (wouldn't have felt ok using them anyway), the electrical outlets by the sink didn't work, no bedside table on one side. It seems to be a combo longer term rental place, plus short term motel - not the biggest of issues, but worth mentioning. It's definitely a "you get what you pay for" place. We cut our trip short to avoid a second night.
