Extremely helpful and kind staff. Very relaxed pool environment which they clean every morning.

The staff was amazing. The lady at the front desk went out of her way for me and made me copies for something that I needed. That was much appreciated
They kind of rushed us out of there

The woman who checked me in late at night was super-nice and very smooth and efficient. Probably the nicest Motel 6 staffer I’ve experienced ever.
Although I didn’t use the pool, it looked very nice, clean, and welcoming. The foliage/planting all around the property was nice and well-done.
Doing the “upgrade” to the Deluxe room for a very small extra was worth it to have a big fridge and microwave.
A/C worked great overnight in the heat of summer. Lots of TV channels and good picture.
The walls to the outside are soooo thin. Some guy was outside in the walkway and down below yelling about something and then trying to teach his dog obedience skills (“sit, stay, etc.) and it sounded like he was basically IN my room. And it was freaking 7:30 am. Totally uncalled for. Based on a few questionable looking folks hanging around outside in the common areas late at night, the property is likely doing homeless/SDI/Section 8 vouchers.
It’s not in the greatest location right next to the freeway, and also off a one-way frontage road with a sort of difficult entrance.
Room was in so-so condition. Acceptably clean but not great. Definitely some wear and tear to property.
Check the night-time road closures during construction on HWY 99. All the exits to Merced-proper were closed and I was re-routed FAR out of the way through very dark, poorly maintained farm roads and almond orchards. Pretty unnerving.

Convenient location.
It is a very loud location. Trains and construction going on. Plus the businesses near by get early morning dumpster service and deliveries. We did have one cockroach that greeted us but was quickly taken care of. No other ones were seen. Seemed like maybe some long term residents lived there that liked to partake in some herbal medicines.

The rooms have floors and not carpet.
The swimming pool was too dirty, cloudy, and full of body fluids, terrible sight. The bathroom's stool was loose, and the sink was clogged. And when we arrived, there were several men drinking beer in the parking lot. It smelled a lot like weed outside of the property. I chose this stay because of the pool, I won't stay there ever again. Yosemite Lake is closer, so I will book a better place with no swimming pool when visiting Merced.

There was some one in the offixe to get me a room.
I had to pay almost twice as much because my booking reservation had the wrong date on jt.

Ac worked great and the guy that checked us in was great
People hanging outside my door until 2 am loud n wouldn't shut up. They shouldn't be allowed to hang outside after 10. A motel is for us to relax when traveling ad I couldn't get that
