It was refreshing to have a sparkling clean and fully updated room. This was a very comfortable stay, and even though it is right in the middle of downtown on a busy road, it was pleasantly quiet. The staff was very courteous and friendly.
My Room (206) didn't have a bathroom mirror, but I was able to work around this. Also, the bathroom fan is not working. This didn't cause me any problems.

Location
The toilet was plugged when we checked in, it was possibly under remodel because the transition between the room and bathroom had sharp edge tile edges and carpet tack the towel rack is falling down. And at some point during the night someone opened the door and left it cracked. If you have a problem with trains then be advised that there 3 times in the night...

It wasn't a dive
Air conditioner was difficult to work, loud and lots of busy goings-on, no lamps at all and the bed was a rock.

Location was good
This first floor room did not seem secure for the neighborhood. There was an electronic door lock, but no dead bolt. For this reason I ended up not staying the night. Did not feel safe.

My nephew and I arrived and departed on bicycles while riding across the country. On departing 3 generations of the family who owned the motel came out to send us off, wish us well, and safe travels, and take a photo of us with the patriarch. It was incredibly sweet and kind.

Nothing. Gross property
When I arrived they charged me again. Owner was rude and incompetent. I was charged twice and the owner told me to tell booking.com I was never there. Disputing charges

The young adult staff was friendly and very helpful. He connected me to the U Oregon experience.
While I have liked Eugene the motel, while ok, happens to be right where there is a sometimes crazy and stressful commotion of freeway to town traffic and construction. I was so stressed about going to I-5 north that I probably will not stay in Eugene anymore- not the motel…Eugene - more urban than I guess I want. We were pleased with the price, but all lodging seems overpriced right now - like everything.

Manager friendly. Shower was nice.
Noise, and dirty was being remodeled, no breakfast. Room small but had a balcony I think he was renting out the parking spots to people which made no parking for the people who were actually paying to stay there. If you came back late needed a pass to park who knows where. Room needed carpet cleaning.

Professional, clean, walking distance to stores and eateries. Easy access to transit. Worth the $ spent.

This is quite simply the best motel I have stayed in. The friendly owners went out of their way to sort out a ground floor room for my wife, who uses crutches. The room was spotless and had recently been fitted out with a brand new bathroom......oh, and it was excellent value for money.
Nothing not to like

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was modest and clean. The shower was beautiful 😍
Nothing it was great.
5.0
It had a nice shower.
The door was not flushly sealed and leaked in cold air, light and noise from outside all night. There were lots of chipped paint spots on the walls and the furniture and amenities looked thrown together by hand or found at thrift stores.

Location to the school and downtown was good.
A/C unit blows right on to the bed making it difficult to sleep and keep room cool.

They had the nicest shower of any budget motel I have ever stayed at! Room is small, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We got in late at night and the area seemed a bit sketchy. The area looked better in the morning.
