Pleasant

Good location, quiet property, secure facilities (need key card to enter whole building), abundant parking, AC works well

Shower barely works and sprays out of the tub, even after asked them to fix it, no breakfast included even though it says breakfast is served 6-9am, AC very loud

One step above Motel 6

Location to the place we were visiting.

The pet fee was outrageous and they no longer offer breakfast. The courtyard view was nothing but weeds. The bed was extremely hard, 1 tiny bar of soap...will never stay there again no matter how much cheaper the room rate is.

We were wary based on first impressions but it ended up being fine.

It was decently priced for the area, centrally located to our activities, the front desk staff was professional, the room was large, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

It looked like this property was undergoing some sort of transition as the sign on the road needs to be replaced, some of the landscaping was in need of attention, and the lobby seemed to be under construction. There was a strong smell of disinfectant or cleaner in the hallway that was very offputting but we got used to it.

Made two rooms available next to each other.

No breakfast available, staff unaware of what time pool opens and closes. Wish we had a door to open door between the two rooms

It was ok.

The facility was clean. The staff very pleasant.

The bed was creaky. The pillows were lumpy. The towels were rough. The toilet seat was loose. I did tell the staff when we checked out. There was confusion regarding this motel being part of Best Western. The Best Western sign was out front but I was told they were not part of Best Western. One reason I chose this location is because I trust Best Western facilities and services.

Won't be staying there ever again.

No breakfast service offered

Entered room and it was almost 100 degrees and the A.C. was off. There was also a bunch of oil, from fries or burgers on the night stand. The T. V. only allowed 1 channel, I advised staff and they didn't even check it as the remote control was in the exact location as I left it. Also, saw some ants crawling along the wall near the bathroom.

Clean and neat no need for repairs.

Was under the impression that a continental Breakfast we to be had one of the reasons we booked it. BUT no, they did nt hav any kind of breakfast set up.Marriott had bout Bewst Buy and pland to renovate this facility, which does not need it. So am concerned the prices will go up.

Facility needs to be better maintained

Friendliness of staff

Only elevator didn’t work and we were originally put in a room on third floor. We are elderly. Door had a two-inch gap at the bottom, letting in bugs and drafts.

DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

The room had a functioning toilet

This hotel looks like a haunted mansion! The fountain in the front was flowing with green water and actual feces flowing with it. My kids were afraid to stay. We gave it a chance and stayed since it was extremely late and a long distance, the room smelled of a old wet towel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, noisey and sunk in middle. Spoke to Brittany who stated she would forward my concerns to Nick the manager. Nick did not reach out to me, I called him. He stated he had my message and had many other people to get back to regarding their stay over the weekend. Nick offered no resolution instead stated if I didn't like it, I should have paid for for another hotel. This hotel should be condemned and need extreme renovations.

Good value stay

Room was clean and comfortable. The facility is just off a main road so it's easy to get to and find. Good water pressure and temperature for the shower.

Not the newest design but everything worked fine. No toiletries except for lotion.

The hotel is a little dated. The bed was a little lumpy and I woke up sore in the morning. Those were the only downsides. Overall the experience was nice. The hotel is clean, the pool and hot tub are accessible for the physically challenged. Hotel staff were quite friendly. The location is at the north end of Atascadero, so it is quiet and there is less traffic to noise. I would stay again in the future.

Great location, room needed some TLC

No breakfast available, great location.

The bathroom needs work, bathtub paint peeling,door damaged, hole on the wall patched but repairs not completed.

Quiet but not too quiet.

Safe parking lot, quiet location in wine country. Room was quite comfortable. Receptionist was very helpful in allowing me to print tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium at the desk as the business center was being updated over the holidays.

Laundry room was also being updated over the holidays without notice here on Booking.com which seems like an easy fix. Luckily, I intuitively did laundry the previous night at a big hotel at LAX during the midpoint of our West Coast journey even though I had planned for all three of us to do laundry here in this more relaxed venue. Hotel layout is a bit labyrinthian but key clues given by the receptionist helped in our successful quest to find our room during our late night check-in. No breakfast.

The hotel staff saved the day

The staff. These folks were exceptional to say the least. Our visit was met with the great front desk lass and to top it off the young lady that put on the breakfast bar was a (hoot) and was always there when needed. (In fact the breakfast room had a great feeling and was the main feature of the hotel) We met 4 more employees and they all made us smile and made our visit very enjoyable despite the following.

The hotel is starting to show her age. We will start with the "TOO" firm and old mattress. Then there is the toilet that is "too" low. Speaking of toilets, the paper was the worse on our bottom. (Probably the least costing on the market)
