A great choice for travelers who want to balance cost with comfort.

Located in a gorgeous, breathtaking, setting, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel location has some fun history. The room was quiet and comfortable, as advertised. Everything was in good working order, and a convenient location between the nearby town and the National Park. Every need was met!

Only minor details, the in room coffee was weak, (the complimentary coffee in the main office was better). The sink is located outside of the bathroom, which felt like a strange layout.

Disappointed

Close to the Denali NP.

The site was unpleasant, no appealing, motel amenities. Actually, it’s a motel as we were informed by email before we leave for the trip. Towels were hideously ragged, & old.

Average motel style room. Dated decor. Pleasant for older looking facility. Location was great for short drive to Denali Park area. Would use as an alternative but not my first choice.

Room was very dated and felt old. There was a faint smell in room also. Drive right up to rooms. Motel style. Good for one night but would not be my first option.

Very nice and clean place. Tastefully decorated.

I would have liked to see their front desk/office stay open at all times. To be more specific, the front desk opens at 8:00 and we had to find a place to get good coffee since we were leaving early for the park. Even though the rooms have a coffee maker; like most places, this coffee quality was not good. Also, I would have liked the rooms to be slightly bigger.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff.

Good location, close to the park entrance, close to the three-bear supermarket. Front desk employee friendly.

The room is very simple, the building is like modified ocean containers. Small bathroom, but it is Alaska, everything is overpriced.

Retro Quaint and Comfy

Great location and access to Denali Natl Park which was about 10 miles south. Great staff and the property was reminiscent of an old roadside motel. Quaint and comfy.

Outstanding staff, great property, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I was made to feel very welcome. The property was itself interesting, with staff housing being provided in old train cars.

Other guests reading their reservation and not taking up everyone's time at the desk trying to get checked in.

Don't expect much!

Close to Denali NP.

WiFi is essentially unusable during the entire stay. No room service or restocking of supplies (coffee, etc) since the office closes at eight.

proximity to park, and quiet.

needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. beds were not comfortable and pillows were old and flat. bathroom floor was sloped.

We loved the location, only a very short drive to Denali National Park.

We were in one of far back sections and there was a very large group of people partying, drinking, dancing outside and carrying on late at night, very noisy!

Well located, clean, and a good value for the area

it was near Denali NP, it was clean and easy to find. convenient parking right outside the room.

The bed was not even, it threw us to the middle and outside. It was kind of lumpy.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Good restaurants close by.

Room was nice and clean. It was located close to the park we wanted to visit. Bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was super nice and very helpful with dining suggestions and grocery store locations.

The bathroom was awfully small.
