Not a happy stay.

Room location was bad. I was given a room next to ice machine and elevator and over looking parking lot. I paid a lot for a room at a supposably nice hotel just to get a bad room.. And then they gave the room next to me to a very loud nosey family. Not recommending this place at all. Also ice bucket was not cleaned or checked from last tenants. So no telling what else wasn't cleaned.

great for family vacation and business trips

perfect location for relaxing walk along the marina, 5 minutes drive to the Kemah boardwalk and 15 minutes to the space center. great pool (not heated so water may be cold if visiting before May). convenient restaurants on side and close by. rooms are clean and spacious and with nice balcony facing the water

everything was so clean and nice

well the only thing I did not like was that when I booked it said breakfast included but when we got there because I booked it with booking.com they told me that it wasn’t and I had to paid I think that was not fair !! 😩

Place was really nice and staff were very professional.

The beds were super comfortable.

Restrooms were very small. Pancakes are extra for breakfast would’ve thought it would be included with the $17 price.

Only stay if your looking for a nice pool and great location. OLD, SMELLY, OUTDATED!

The staff is super friendly and helpful! Love that it’s a one-stop-shop property.

The hallways smell like smoke, old socks and musty. At this price point I expected a little more cleanliness (white spots on bedroom floor) and upgraded bathrooms. The rooms are old and although there are modern pictures on the wall, the room is still very outdated.

Good

The only issue I had was the climate control in the room. The AC was either on or off. You cannot control the fan speed and the fans were so loud you couldn't hear the TV in the room they ran so hard and so loud.

Almost spoiled by jerky manager upon checkin.

Room was ok, but not what I requested. Hotel was not too crowded on a Monday. Area is great. View is better above the 4th floor and on the harbor side, but 4th floor wasn't terrible. Bathroom and kitchenette well stocked with articles.

I was checking in with a lady and while I was speaking with her, a manager stepped out and started barking answers to me. "Were you able to honor my request about the harbor side?" Manager answers for her: "You have to request it when you make a reservation by selecting "harbor view." I said "I did request it - through Booking email request." "Oh, we don't see that. You have to reserve through us to request that." "Well, can I request it now?" Sweet lady, "I think I can put you on the harbor side." Manager walks off. Wow. I don't guess he considered I stay there about every 3 months and may want to return again? I am not going to let him ruin my favorite hotel. Regarding the room - the last 2 previous times, I have had AC issues. This time was no exception. The fan would only run on high, even when set to auto or low. It was LOUD. I had to get up in the night and just turn the unit off. I am weary of this issue each visit.
