I ate across the street from the Inn at a cafe which was easy, good value and plenty of breakfast options: overnights oats, egg sandwiches, donuts and coffee

Perfect location between Stowe and the ski slopes. Clean, comfy and warm rooms. Julian was extremely helpful with knowledge of the area, really pleasant and friendly person.

Great value stay in the heart of Stowe, centrally located and right across from an excellent coffee shop. The driveway was extremely icy to the point of being unsafe and could have used a little salt or sand. There was a half-eaten cookie on the chair when we walked in that also gave us pause, as well as stains on curtains and bedsheets. Overall, a great place for a weekend trip to Stowe!

I stayed here during a four day trip to Stowe. Elise and her son were very friendly, and Elise was eager to offer recommendations on where to go and what to do. On what was initially to be my last full day, seeing how I was enjoying my trip, Elise noted that the room I was in was available for an extra night at the same rate. Her generosity is greatly appreciated!
As for the property, be aware it is not hotel or resort experience. Essentially, the inn has rooms which are rented out (these I did not see) and 6-8 rooms behind which somewhat resemble a motel. Regardless, my room itself was equipped with two twin beds and a small single, with heating, mini fridge, coffee, TV, and beautiful renovated bathroom and shower.
Finally, the location is perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants and breweries, including Alchemist, as well as walking distance to the Rec Path.

We had a wonderful stay in Riverside Inn, the room is very clean and smells clean. It is newly renovated. I like that the floor is not carpeted so it doesn’t have that old carpet smell. Walking distance to some best restaurants in town, in fact Piecasso is just beside it. The back of the motel is nice pine trees with a river behind it. Worth the money and this will be our first choice next time.

Tay and her husband Julian were amazing hosts. There was a freak incident where the room I had booked also got booked via another app at the very same time. Even though this was no fault of theirs they were extremely apologetic and sorted me out with another room which they gave me for free for the night.
Extremely generous and attentive hosts. I can't recommend them enough. They even gave me access to a locked shed to store my mountain bike in. I'll definitely stay with them again next time I'm in the area.

Nice and comfortable stay with my teenager.
The place is very the center so you can walk to the brewery, the mini golf, the restaurant, the ici cream and even the bike/walk path.
The room is decent with share bathrooms. Everything was clean.
The price is fair enough for what you get, even more for Stowe area.
The place is pretty old and when you come inside the place, it is smelling the old thing. Not so great, but upstairs it was correct.

Very nice British owner/manager who will take good care of you. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms beautifully updated, including fancy showers. Pet friendly! If you have an electric vehicle, you may be able to charge it with Julian's' personal 120 V charger, but in the future Julian is planning to upgrade this to a 240 V charger. Great location, proximity to the Alchemist brewery and the Idletyme Brew Pub and Restaurant (2 minute walk to both) and a short car ride to the Von Trapp Beer Hall will be appreciated by beer lovers.
No breakfast, however PK Coffee is just across the street.

Perfect location next to the recreation trail and river, with two breweries, coffee shop, restaurants, bike shop, and park all within a short walk. Especially with a dog, staying in the back rooms was a perfect set up for us. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful.

The location is great. Close to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Julian was always on the lookout for any of our needs. The place is extremely clean and the bathroom had just been renovated. We had issues trying to get out because of the snow and Julian jumped right in to aid us.

The location is great!
The place was not as clean as I hoped. There was pet dander on the comforter. It’s a little over priced for how outdated it is.

Fantastic inn, right on bike path with brook outside back window. Proprietor was just so welcoming. Would recommend it to all whom want to stay in stowe.

I loved that it was within walking distance of several good restaurants. The bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was better than mine at home.
The mattress was a little firm for my liking. The intersection at the entrance was really scary
