Bad

The first room was dirty - the sink filthy and the rug hadn't been vacuumed. I was moved to a second room and the bed sheets were dirty. I left and found a new hotel. Very disappointing as I had stayed at this property before Covid and enjoyed it. I heard it is under new mangement since Covid. Awful!

Good stay at this renovated hotel.

The location was great. It is close enough to anything you want to do in Clemson area, but not in the middle of town. That was fine. You could tell the hotel had been renovated and it is quite nice.

We wish the restaurant had been open for lunch or dinner.

It was disappointing mainly due to the lack of cleanliness and overall normal service not provided.

1) I arrived at 14.10 and was told that check-in was at 15.00 and that I had to pay 25 USD for early check-in; 2) The room was not cleaned or taken care of for 2 of the 4 nights I stayed. I asked about this and got different answers depending on who was at the front desk. One answer was that it is not part of the hotel's responsibilities unless I specifically ask for it, so I asked for it but again the room was not cleaned a second time. 3) The hotel was lacking in cleanliness and maintenance. For example, when I checked into my room, I found small pieces of paper next to the bed, the toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned. The gym had not been cleaned or only rudimentarily, etc. 4) The hotel was definitely understaffed, in addition to the lack of cleanliness of the rooms, every night I saw the front desk staff folding sheets and towels in the reception area where guests would normally sit. 5) Overall the hotel did not provide what it should have provided and guests pay for, I paid 1094,90 USD for 4 nights, which is daily room cleaning, replacing towels, making the beds, emptying the trash, etc. The same for the rest of the hotel interiors, the gym, was just a picture of " let it be”.

The website had things listed that were not included in the hotel stay experience such as restaurant and bar. I was told by staff its been down since COVID-19 and should be open this summer. That information is something the website should mention. Although there is more I could write about I will leave it there, because with that alone I would have picked a different hotel to stay at. I feel lied to and took advantage of!

Very nice place!

The girl that checked us in was super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the cookies at check in. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.

The online booking website indicated there was a indoor pool and when we got there, there was not.

Excellent first time stay in Clemson.

convenient location, the hotel was in reach of downtown and the campus.

I had an issue with booking during the check in process but the staff were really accommodating, friendly, and professional. The issue was resolved the next morning.
