The guy that checked us in was wonderful. We drove up from Florida for a family funeral & although we had called & stated that we would be arriving after 10am & assured that it would be ok. When we arrived the gentleman said our booking had been canceled as a no show. He promptly was able to do something in the computer to get us in a room so we could get ready for the funeral that was in a couple hours.
It was incredibly noisy. Seemed like the people on the sides of us lived there with a bunch of guests. Room was only ok. Had old water damage on the walls & ceiling. Was hoping it would be restored old hotel, but it was just old

Location. That was about it.
Run down. Peeling paint in the bathroom. No blackout curtains. Bed and pillows old stiff. They gave you a brown paper bag of convenience store pastries for breakfast. Just sad.

Quick on and off route 9
Mattress needs to be replaced. Could hear a lot of noise from surrounding rooms. Someone else's hair on the bathroom.

the view was fantastic. the beds were comfortable, the facilities were fairly clean.
there was hair on the pillows and beds that wasn't ours. it appeared to be from someone's head, so i was able to just pull it and ignore it.

Staff was very friendly, was able to check in early. Close to the highway but also very nice view of sunset on Hudson. Park on the Hudson is within walking distance ~15 min walk. Good value and quality for a quick 1 night stay. Parking was plentiful. Hotel had complimentary breakfast to-go bags from 6a-10a. Plenty of storage in rooms, microwave and mini fridge. Coffee and tea available in lobby at all times.
Slightly outdated, but again good for 1 night stay. If looking to go in town, hotel is a bit far for walking. Bathroom door didn’t shut fully and toilet wasn’t bolted to ground, just be careful.

It was nice.it was in a good location
It was a little dated. It needs black out curtains so that the room is dark. The light from the outside security light up the room.

View second night
Our bathtub was unusable chunks of porcelain paint, half of the tub chunks off. Dangerous… we called the front desk. One person working. Not helpful. Said no manager till Monday . A manager on Sat said we could change rooms. ….after my husband emailed the Manager. Douglas…. The new room was acceptable. But when we checked out there was a $50 fee for our dog for two days. All the advertisement said was Pet Friendly, we asked for a wake-up call for Sat, never received and the desk clerk argued with us. We will never go near this hotel Room 14. Would be condemned.

Great location, clean room, over looking the Hudson. I felt happy with the view..was able to walk on the balcony, sat, enjoyed a drink .
There’s nothing to dislike. I didn’t even think twice about the fact that there was no coffee in the room. it’s a lovely place.

Location and check in process
The bed was uncomfortable, kept making sounds the whole night if we moved as if we were on an air mattress, I thought it was going to collapse at some point

Location is great. Adequate bag breakfast.
That I had to book online through a third party to get the best price.

The pool and the view from the pool are great. It's easy to get there and the staff is very nice and friendly.
The room was very outdated. The bathtub floor was all peeled and not very clean. The room needs an upgrade. We understand the hotel was closed during the pandemic and it's just coming back to business.
The pool needs more umbrellas. There were only 2, and no shade at all.
Also no clean towers.

Easy parking
Noisy location - major road and train lines just below US trains apparenly hoot when passing a station - and there is one just below as well.
Also, no F&B - closed due to Covid (still!!)

Great location (although those with sensitive hearing my not like the train whistle from the close by commuter rail). Easy in and out. They offered a breakfast bag with muffin, nutribar, yogurt, water and OJ.
When we checked-in they said the pool would be open the following day. It never opened. We had to go to the lobby to get shampoo, and even there they didn't have conditioner. The inn is starting to look a little dated and could use a spruce-up.

Absolutely nothing
The room was dirty and dated. The bed was uncomfortable; the sheets were dirty. The shower was not clean.

The room itself was adequate and the bed was comfy. Ryan, the day manager/front desk person was an absolute dream, the staff was terrific. Whatever Ryan is making is NOT enough. He's a keeper!!!!
The top drawer of the dresser was not aligned properly, even with an adjustment attempt. Outdated to some degree and the shower pressure was NOT good. The view was marred by construction work at the pool area.
There was a train stop VERY close by and it woke me up at 7 AM and continued blaring every 20 minutes or so, so sleep wasn't all that great. Not to mention that I was right next to the stairway and there was a lot of up and down by various people.

good location
the room smelled like cigarette smoke, someone else’s hair was in the shower and on the sheets, and check-in took over half an hour.
