Friendly and accommodating staff. Hot shower with great water pressure!!
The outside appearance, along with the worst parking lot conditions we have ever seen to an operating business was alarming at first. We almost kept on driving to be truthful. However, I went in to check it out and was pleasantly surprised by the cute décor & cleanliness of the lobby. After checking in with a very friendly staff member my mind was changed about staying and we all had a very comfortable weekend there.

The place was clean and our grandson enjoyed the pool table and swimming.
It has a musty smell probably due to the old rugs. Could use a few updates in several places

room was good, location was good
pool was too cold and we were there snowmobiling and it would have been real nice if there was a couple hot tubs this place could be really great if they put some effort into it

Location was convenient for Baxter State Park and Katahdin Woods and Waters, but hard to find initially as it is hidden behind a vacant business with no frontage on the main road.
Old furnishings looked like from 1950s. Carpet in hallways is old, dirty and lumpy. Odd set up with the pool inside the lobby but probably nice for people with kids. Pleasant staff at front desk.

Room and building was very clean. Building is old but well maintained. Very clean room. Bed was comfortable and room smelled nice.
The free breakfast was juice, toast, cereal and coffee. They had a container of margarine half used on the counter. No peanut butter, or jelly. It was Sunday and I thought they would have something nice.

Do not recommend it.
Google map can’t find the hotel. Also, we received an msg on the same day said if we arrive after 10 P.M. our reservation will be cancelled without refund. Really? Breakfast is 100% carb with 0% protein.

It was very clean and the staff WAS ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL.
I got a pool side room. I was expecting that like most hotels the pool would be in a windowed space. The pool was just inside the "lobby area with no natual lighting. Being I had a pool side room and sliding glass doors to the pool area and no other windows in the room, it was extremely dark and I had to have all the lights on in the room. I wish I would have known this ahead of time because I do not do well without natural lighting. There was really no outdoor space to go to except the parking lot which several guests were "hanging out there." No fault of the hotels but there is not much happening in Millinocket. The trails were outstanding for hiking, but once that was done for the day, there was nowhere to walk or sit outside and it was back to the dark hotel room. They did have a picinic table off to the side but people were letting their dogs out there and not cleaning up after them so it was not the best place to sit outside. Overall the hotel was nice, I just need more natural lighting.

There was an indoor pool. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Breakfast was minimal but okay unless you're into whole foods and plant-based.

It was clean and conveniently located right off the road towards Baxter State Park. We didn't partake in the buffet breakfast, but it looked good. Indoor pool wasn't open due to pandemic but I imagine it's lively during winter weekends when it's open.

The location .
Hotel is outdated , needs to be renovated. The room was clean , but shower ran out head and faucet at the same time , no bathroom fan . We have stayed at other places in Millinocket and this was the most expensive. Sounded like the guy upstairs was practicing on a pogo stick , pretty much the whole time we were in the room. The free breakfast was , not good at all.
