Very bad experience.
Noisy, close to freeway. Poor quality of accessibility, such as handler, the closet.

gorgeous grounds and facilities
bikes not available (had flats), one night draft beer wasn’t working, restaurant was impossible to use (limited servers), ridiculous parking charges for the site.

It was a lovely hotel and it had a great scent throughout.
Our room had a television that constantly made loud noises. They did move us but the TV in the new room did the same thing

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and inviting, and the pool was well stocked with towels and very clean. We loved our stay and appreciated the friendly staff. Parking was very convenient and close to our room.
There are a few missing touches, probably just because the rooms are so new. For example, there’s no hand towel by the sink, so after you wash your hands you have to open the bathroom door to reach a towel. The shower didn’t have large bottles of product yet, so miniature bottles were balanced on the ledge. These things will be sorted out over time!

Just been renovated. Nice size rooms. Quiet. Good location.
$30 a night parking fee! No ceiling lights making it dark.
Not the best of welcomes at 11pm.

Beautiful property. Modern, clean rooms.

Loved the grounds, the pool, the tents/cabanas that offered some privacy at the pool. Also appreciated the blackout curtains, the precise temperature control in the room and the comfy bed. And the staff was very responsive and quick to bring us things we asked for (i.e. a highchair for our son).
The room wasn't ready at 4pm; it was 1.5 hours late. My husband paid $9 for an espresso from an automatic machine at the bar and he said it was the most he's ever paid for a mediocre (and non-hand-crafted) coffee. $20 per night to self-park also seemed a bit steep. And the pull-out bed wasn't comfortable and we didn't have sheets to put on it. (Though it had some kind of mattress pad.)

The rooms were nice and stylish
The air-conditioning to our room was not working and we were not informed that it wasn’t working until after midnight even after I called to tell them at 10 PM that we weren’t getting any air. They said that they would send someone from maintenance to work on it, and then they never called us again until I called at 12 AM and then they informed me that it was out completely. This day was our seven year anniversary trip.

It is a beautiful resort and the staff was wonderful!
I wish it was closer to the beach, but it isn't too far.

The location was very central and easy drive to downtown Santa Barbara, the beach and even Costco😄. We enjoyed our visit, my children loved the area and the inn. They said it was fancy. They loved the hot tub and pool. I loved the gardens, the smell of jasmin as you walk along the path towards Terra. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
We were looking for a microwave in the room but that we can live without.😁

Newly renovated one bedroom suites with tasteful decor. Gorgeous lobby/bar area and beautiful patio/garden area with luscious vegetation. The hotel restaurant is great, and the gourmet breakfast was delicious. Don't forget to see the Sexton historic house, which is in the middle of the hotel property.
I booked a suite with garden view which is a little more expensive than the standard suite. I arrived Saturday evening at around 8 PM and we were given a standard room with a view to the parking lot. I asked the girl at the reception, and she said the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing she could do.

the rooms and campus is very pretty
a lot was wrong. the motion light in the bathroom goes out while you’re in the shower, only one trash can and it’s in the bathroom, one remote for 2 TVs, so one person can’t change their channels or turn the tv off/on. the whole place smells like paint and construction materials, walls are thin, can hear everything, construction everywhere around the hotel, had to have bedding delivered for the pullout sofa, none was in the room, no elevator so enjoy getting to the 2nd floor, access to room is only through the side doors so you have to drag your luggage from what bad parking spot you can find. so if your room is on the ground floor and you are close to your car, too bad, you have to walk your luggage around to the side door instead of out the patio door. there is just a lot that needs better thinking

very spacious rooms

We had a deluxe queen suite and it was nice and spacious, with good A/C and all the essentials: full length mirror, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, coffee and tea. The room was also bright with big windows and sliding glass door, and tastefully decorated. Staff are excellent. On our first night we arrived late and in the middle of a shower the water cut out. I called the front desk and although engineering had already left for the day, the front desk person actually went and fixed the problem herself!
I was surprised at how uncomfortable the pillows were considering they are new. Bedding is basic quality, but does the trick. I was also surprised that there's no housekeeping at all, so they don't empty the trash can (only one tiny can in the suite) or make beds or restock coffee and tea (I suppose you can call and ask for it to be delivered or trash to be emptied). I reserved a deluxe queen with garden view and asked for a quiet room, and was given a room with a parking lot view, which was kinda depressing. Hotel is also right by the freeway, but our room faced away from the freeway and was quiet with the windows closed.

The property is under a little construction but the renovations are exceptionally nice. Very beautiful setting, the trees and the place itself, super charming and the decor is absolutely fabulous. I loved that they are pet friendly, I truly enjoyed this place. Cant wait to visit again in the near future. I enjoyed the separation between the room and the living room, gave the place a condo feel. Our room was very roomy.
No Elevator

Location was great. Room was clean and comfortable.
The automatic bathroom lights were not functional. They kept shutting off on its own when I would use the toilet and shower.
