Safe but rundown and dirty location

the price was right. The check in staff were pleasant and the check in was quick. The location right next to a waffle house was good too. And the place felt safe in spite of its rundown-ness.

the facility is run down. Not clean. Leaking toilet and bathroom door that wouldn't close. literal threadbare towels. Cigarette burns on the comforter. one pillow was half as wide as a usual one and grossly lumpy. Even for a Motel6 this one was rough. Other Motel6 I've stayed at are in good shape. This one, not so much.

Close to someplace else I could actually get a cup of coffee at. Nothing about my stay was anything to write home about. I was actually pretty unhappy with standards and cleanliness

Slow check in. Seemingly unconcerned employee. Filthy yellow drooled on pillows with no shape. (Old and well used) bathroom door wouldn't shut. Toilet is in way. Walls dirty. Corners and "behind things was dusty and dirty. Needs updates. And fresh items. (Furniture, bedding linens etc...) not worth what i paid to stay here

it did the job. I rested before continuing my travel.

The room was clean and tidy. Many(3) sleep pillows was nice (although all were soft, so I had to stack two together). Water pressure in the shower was good and the water was hot. The gentleman at check-out was very kind and sweet. I enjoyed talking to him while I was leaving the motel. Wifi was good at first but not so great after 10pm.

The man at check-in was rude (different person). He appeared to hate his job and people. The body towels were too small, it couldn't wrap around my frame. At night, people outside were loud. Strangers also knocked on my door throughout the night and kept my dog and I awake. Not the motel's fault, nonetheless something to be aware of.

The room had burn holes and semen stains all over the covers. The towels looked dirty and the countertops were not washed. The refrigerator worked but was filthy inside and the room didn't come with shampoo or conditioner.

By the lake

I had a reservation scheduled I got there on time to check in. I was running later than I had intended but I called and talked to a couple different people to let them know. Long story short, got there my reservation had been cancelled and they were booked up so I couldn't get another room. It was horrible and they were extremely rude!

don’t do it!

I don’t think there’s any redeeming qualities

we’ve always looked for a bargain place especially when it’s just over night (coming in later and leaving early) so I’m really not too picky but this place gave off extremely icky vibes. We refused to shower. The towel folded over the tub was very stained along with the bottom of the tub making us feel like we’d come out dirtier than when we got in. This is really gross but there were also multiple bugger smears across the bathroom walls. The grime build up on the walls and doors reminded me of something from the show “hoarders”. Very small and lumpy pillows, cigarette wholes in the blankets and to top it all off, a cockroach crawled out from somewhere in the sink as I washed my face. It was a really unrestful night thinking about if anything in the room, including bedding, had been cleaned…. ever. Do yourself a favour and trust the bad reviews on this one!!
