never got to stay they took my money and didn’t care that I was homeless won’t recommend this place

I didn’t like anything about this property I booked online and once I got there they asked me to pay a $200 deposit and I told him that I did not have it and ask him could they cancel it and they refused to give me my money back. I paid $83 and they refused to give me my money back I called booking.com and no one wanted to give me my money back. They said it was a strict policy against giving money back once booked also pleaded with them and told them that I was homeless and they still didn’t want to give me my money back and me and my children had to sleep in the car. I am very disappointing. I was there within 30 minutes of booking my room on Booking.com, and they still refused to give me my money back. I really want to speak to someone with corporate, but I can’t find anyone to give me my money back.

After paying for my hotel room the following day it took $100 out of my account without me being notified or without my permission for deposit and a poem leaving that my money will be four to five days from now which leaves me stuck halfway across the state without having the fuel money to get back home without no find me or asking my permission to charge my card for the deposit

It's fine for the price

It was cheap and pet friendly, staff was friendly, over all good for the price you pay. Beds were comfy enough, and the sheets appeared to be clean. Good hotel if you just need a place to crash and sleep for the night. Especially if you are traveling with pets and are on a budget.

Booking had me under the impression the pet fees were included in the price already, so when I went to check in I had to pay a couple different fees on top of the price Booking showed. That's the risk with using Booking though, and thats not the hotels faul. The breakfast was picked over by 8am, only granola bars left, though that didnt bother me much as it was a very cheap hotel. What did bother me was the pet friendly room I got was incredibly dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke(even though it was nonsmoking), while the non pet friendly room I booked for my other family members was much cleaner. Pet friendly room had dead bugs in corners, in the fridge, and dirty floors. Leads to the impression that they just don't clean the pet rooms or don't care if it's clean since guests may have pets. Again though, it WAS cheap. For the price? It was worth it. I was moving across country and couldn't afford much. Would I stay again? Unless I am in the position where I am financially struggling while traveling with animals again, no.

Check directly before you make a reservation

They advertised breakfast and that’s why we reserved a room there. But there was no breakfast available. The location is not good but the room was clean and comfortable. People working at the reception were helpful. It’s a mixed review.

Close to the places I want to go.

Had to switch room because of electrical issues, in bathroom and vanity area. Upon walking in to room lights didn't operate, I had to use my flash light to find light cord to plug in to make light work. Hot water was 10 minutes to get warm enough to shower. When switching rooms first room had a thermostat on wall to operate heat, that was fine. But second room upgraded to King no thermostat, found that it heated from a\c unit, damn good thing I am a mechanic by trade. Could have been a cold night otherwise. Maid service was ok, walls in shower room had holes where curtain hanger was torn out and the moved up the wall, walls had plaster flaking and peeling. It was not what I thought when it was Wyndham owned. 703 Gaither Rd Statesville, N.C.

Exceptional

The receptionist did his best for us and was very supportive.

I didn't like that Booking.com site said there was a room available, and I booked it. When I got there, there were indeed no rooms left! It was quite a wait, but a smaller room opened up and luckily, we were accommodated.
