Absolutely not it.

There was no warm water, this was the first hotel I stayed at that did not even have warm water for showers. The staff were shifty and rude. 0/10 would not stay there again unless running from the Mafia or homeless.

Better than Camping but still roughing it.

We chose this hotel because we were traveling with dogs and they do not have extra fees for pets. We were originally going to camp for the night but it was 100 degrees out. For 30$ more, I chose to have AC, a proper bed, and private bath. This hotel is better than camping.

It is not in a great area for walkability. Nowhere to walk the dogs or get a few essentials. There are homeless families living in the hotel with kids and pets. I appreciate motel 6 helping out those in need but it creates a different dynamic. Dog poo everywhere on sides and back of property. Large Dog off leash in back of property made me nervous for my dog’s safety. Bulk trash items in back of property. Mattresses, cars, golf carts, all bring the experience down.

You had to pay an extra $11.50 a night to have a microwave And refrigerator in your room.

Being charged extra for a microwave and refrigerator very loud couldn't sleep and cable didn't work

I just had a problem with the microwave being up in the front office and no refrigerator

It was all great. Neighbors and employees were nice.

No microwave or refrigerator so I had to trash my items that wasn’t being used.

Terrible.

Near the airport and other amenities.

It was filthy. The floors were the dirties I had ever seen. When I wiped the floor the napkin was black. I wanted to leave immediately. The room stunk of cigarette smoke. I would never have booked a smoking room. The mattress covers were filthy. Comforters were stained. Thankfully we left at 2:30 am and didn’t really Spend much time there. Otherwise, I would have left. So disappointed.

It was convenient for the price but if u have family don't come period they just want your money

Nothing it was just convenient because I'm waiting for my house to get inspected the overnight staff tomika was rude and not helpful at all she will call her manager when she scared but not when a guest can't even get in they room they paid for she just a grumpy ass and need to find a new line of work

Wouldn’t recommend

The a/c -/ heater only blew out cold air, the bottom of the door was dented up ward so the morning cold air came straight in. With the heater not working it was freezing. When you went to sit on the bed it lifted like a sea saw. And the tub and toilet had stains. It is not a place to stay with kids for sure. Very sketch area and wouldn’t recommend.

As my stay was totally unacceptable I want a refund for this 2 nights stay.

Everything !!!! Scary place to avoid at all cost ! Not pleasant staff + Dirty outside and outside + Expensive + insecurity + people under influence outside ( alcool +....) + families and kids bumping into cars with their bikes and yelling........ I am use to the standard that Motel 6 normally offer and this one is the lowest I ever experienced !!!!! I cannot believe that Booking.com is even recommended this hotel !!!!!

Good

The a.m. staff was very kind and helpful from the office to the cleaning crew. I am in customer service and they were awesome 💯

I didn't like all the people hanging out after 9:00 we came back late from work and it made me very uncomfortable. The rooms were not as clean especially the floors.

I travel for work often and this is gonna be the only place I stay in Norfolk

Think they should have a grab and go breakfast for the price. Other than that the stay is great. The bed was heaven. So comfortable !! The staff, from general manager to the fella who changes the trash bags, were beyond amazing. These wonderful folks work hard to make sure you're well taken care of and I definitely will be recommending this motel to others. The improvements to this property have transformed it and therefore it has two thumbs way up from this traveler, way up. Thank you all for an amazing stay.

Not a good experience at all

The bed

No chair at the desk,water pressure in shower was not good. No bed spread just a cheap blanket and it was cold, heater made a lot of noise and didn't work very good, the bath tub had a black ring around it, you couldn't close the bathroom door all the way and a dog barked next door from 4:15am all day. I will not go back. The women at the front desk was very nice.

It was a lot cleaner than the other one in Ocean View. Staff 100 times better as well. Didn't have to beg for a towel or extra blanket.

There was a fight in the parking lot late at night. Also someone tried to pry open my husband's car door some time in the night.

only good thing about this property is the location rooms needs to be remodeled heat don’t work in some I mean it’s just awful you don’t get a refrigerator or microwave unless you’re in an upgrade doesn’t make sense there’s a microwave in the lobby that should be thrown in the trash it’s just not worth the money but you get what you pay for
