Location is great
Everything was great
4.3
Location is right on the north end of the beach which is right next to restaurants and shopping establishments
Overpriced and overrated. This hotel is 2 stars and half at best. The lobby imitates the look and feel of a 4 stars hotel but the room is old and outdated. And the smell too...A pretender at best. The slapped on fees are ridiculous. Reserved for a room with a full ocean view but ended up with a partial view looking down into the streets of an up scale neighbor. Spent hours looking at half dresses men and women biking and hollering on the street.... The swimming area is newly renovated and nice though.

One thing I loved, is unlike most places now that do not service your room during your stay, our room was serviced everyday! I loved coming in to the beds made and clean towels! Thank you!
I miss the bar in the lobby! LOL

Great staff, service & stay!

The location is right next to the beach and absolutely beautiful. It is also close to downtown shopping and restaurants.
We ordered room service, and the food was cold and over cooked.

I like mostly everything, but the most I like was the man on the beach, setting up the chairs and umbrella. They made me feel really special.
The only thing I wish the house keepers could have been a little more friendlier

Location
I thought it had a balcony but it didn't. I thought photos made it look like it did.

Location perfect
Safe broke and wouldn’t open ,frightening then response from front desk had to be forced into urgency by us otherwise we would have missed our flight…. Once repairman open front desk staff disappeared to retaliate as I attempted to check out at 4 am the time they knew I would check out … not ok but food was excellent… also housekeeping never came to clean change towels even though sign was hung … ugh

Location and beach
Late Night staff seem uninterested, unfriendly, and not as accommodating. Valet staff was not as willing to help if they noticed you did not tip day 1. I stayed for 6 nights and only obtained cash the on second to last day where i had tipped one of the valet staff. The other staff member always went out of his way to help other people when he saw me and/or ignored me completely.

right on the beach
strong scent of linen spray when you first walk into lobby

Didn't eat there. It was clean
Only one chair in the room to sit in and that's not good when two people are in the room. Hard to get on the beach. I have trouble using stairs.

was never told I was paying for a upgrade when I didn’t ask for one so 4 days after my stay 400$ was charged on my card. I stay in Jacksonville at least once a month probably my 5th time staying at the One and never had this problem before as I use Booking.com and get the same room every time and pay in advance. I thought the additional 400$ was in case of room damages but would be returned if none after stay. Nope I was told it was for a upgrade I never asked for. Been dealing with it for 2 days now and still hasn’t been resolved. if you pay in full in advance and they ask for more money it’s not for damages they are taking your money so don’t expect to get it back. My wife is a neat freak so she cleans the room before we leave and tips the ladies that brings us towels when we ask. Sad this will probably be the last stay for us as we will be back in Jacksonville next week.

Luxurious look, comfortable and clean. The only thing was that the bolt lock didn't work.

Ocean view room facing south to the pier. Beach. pool area and exercise room were great. We did not take advantage of the spa. Appreciated the location being near such a cute area with many bars and restaurants to choose from all within a few blocks of hotel.

This resort double charged me for my stay on my credit card. Although I paid for my entire stay through Bookong.com, the resort charged me also for the entire stay. I've called the resort every day since checking out, 5 times now and each time the resort representative apologizes for charging me again and promises to credit back my credit card immediately and send me an email confirmation that this has been done but they never do it. Today makes 5 days since I checked out and the resort still has not refunded my credit card. This aggravation has spoiled the entire stay for me, I shouldn't have to stress like this upon arriving home so I would avoid this place at all costs.

It was a beautiful hotel. We got to check in early. The beach was very nice
We stayed on a Saturday night, and we tried eating dinner at the hotel, and we asked the front desk if they could still set us. So we went to the restaurant and they told us we could not be. You would think that the front desk and restaurant would communicate. So people wouldn't get the run around. All the restaurants around the hotel were busy too so we ended up ordering doordash
So the restroom was a little small in our room. My boys are 6'2 and it was not easy to shout the door to the restroom.
