My original room smelled was most likely a smoking room in the past. The receptionist at the front desk helped me find a room without the smell. She was very friendly and helpful.

Large rooms, dog friendly and plenty of parking. Expect breakfast to be just a chewy bar but there is coffee.
A bit dated facilities.

Staff is excellent. Joy represents the Hotel extremely professional.
No Internet reception, even after rebooting it was off and on.
Would have preferred a coffee maker in the room as we were not able to walk back and forth to the Main Lobby.

Price was excellent, staff great, bed and pillows great, pillows mean a lot
If one has back problems, everything was better than expected, the price was cheaper and naturally one expects the motel to be sub standard but just the opposite occured.
No breakfast was offered only coffee and juice.

I liked that it was quiet, away from traffic, clean, with a fridge that worked well so able to refreeze my 2 ice bricks for my travel cooler, and responsive when I had a later arrival that originally planned. I needed two rooms and they were together as requested. Lobby was bright and easy to find. Morning coffee was good and fresh.
No "continental breakfast" as was advertised on the booking site, only granola bars and coffee. No coffee maker in the room. The electronic clock radio had two USB ports but one of those got pushed in making it inaccessible, so I had to rely on my USB plug I always have packed. Both rooms were listed as nonsmoking, but one of the rooms was obviously smoked in enough that everyone in my group noticed it, and I could even smell the odor through my CPAP facemask filter. My bed squeaked when I rolled over. And, The previous day and all night it rained, and the room was faintly damp but after an hour of turning on the ac-heat unit to the warm setting it was comfortable.

When I booked it, Breakfast was included in the price deal however they don`t have a breakfast service at the facility... They only offer coffee, tea, granola bars and the juice machine did not work :(

Very friendly, accommodating, and informative staff. The room was passable in terms of cleanliness. It wasn’t a recently renovated property but it was worth what we paid. Our hotel was minutes away from LuRay Caverns and the Blue Ridge Mountains, which was our reason for visiting the Shenandoah Valley!!
I didn’t like that there was no coffee pot in our room. However, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa was made available in the lobby. Also the television was old and we didn’t get many channels.

I liked The fact that the room had a jacuzzi tub

Loved the size of the room. Bathroom was very nice but when you take a shower the water gets on the floor and becomes a fall risk.
Cleaners left trash in the trash cans.

Location was good, not far from places to eat and the Luray Caverns. Not far from the National Park. The grounds were pretty and good places to walk a pet. Room was fairly clean.
The site said Free Breakfast. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice (only until 9am) and a granola bar. I pick my hotels with places with free breakfast. We had to drive 3 miles every time we wanted breakfast. Misleading. Check in was slow. The hotel needs upgraded. The toilet water was running full blast when we went in. The shower handle was leaking and we couldn't get it completely off so it was running the whole stay. The sink handle was hard to shut off unless it was in the right position or it leaked. We were given 2 shampoos and no conditioner. When we were packing up to leave, our room was locked when I went back to get the last load of items. Had to go to the desk and have the card rescanned to get back in. Our room needed some areas fixed on the walls. Pieces coming off, and the remote for the tv was dirty. I really didn't want to touch it. This hotel could be so nice. The location is good and so pretty around it. It is old and really need to offer a nice breakfast. That is a big deal.

We were in Shenandoah National Park for our Virginia Trip and we were searching for a place to stay near the park. So based on the distance which was around 30 mins from the park we booked the stay at Days Inn By Wyndham Luray.
When we entered the reception we were greeted by the manager on duty Paul who helped us with the registration and also gave the keys to our room.
We took our keys and proceeded to our room.
When we opened the room it was a good room with all the required necessities.
What seemed like a nice room was destroyed by the dirty bathroom.
The best part is only the distance from Shenandoah National Park.
The bathroom was dirty with some insects which were dead in the bathroom plus the shower curtain was dirty too. The shower knob was also broken.

I loved the Jacuzzi tub. I did bring my own cleaning supplies for that. I would have even in a 5 star hotel. Ladies know! Lol Maria? Mary maybe? The night manager was super friendly and helpful!
I went to ask for more towels and Paul acted like I should have known that they don't have enough towels on hand to support the amount of rooms. He stated they had 50 rooms booked and 50 booked the next night, it seems like thay have at least 200 rooms...It was more his attitude about it. Had he not acted like it was a complete inconvenience or had this tone as if I was asking for something completely ridiculous I wouldn't have been so frustrated. I didn't argue, I just left the lobby and went and bought my own. We can always use more towels.
It can definitely use some updating and better ventilation. There was no bathroom vent at all. It had a smell. Not necessarily a bad smell but not a pleasant one either. I chose this hotel for the spa tub but if I could go back I know I wouldn't have paid that much to stay there.

The smell of air freshner or carpet fresh gave my daughter an asthma attack. After running the ac for a while and leaving for dinner, it was better.

location
dusty in room, loud dogs barking, night time staff was too busy to help guests with towels, front desk never answered phones

Close to my daughters wedding venue.
Roaches in the room. My reservation was given away and I was forced to pay a full price room that I did not expect. I will NEVER use booking.com again and I will NEVER stay in a Days Inn ever again. It was a sheer shock and disappointment to me and my wife, and ALL of the other family members I told to stay there for convenience to my daughters wedding venue. Absolute 0 star facility.
