Parking lot was filthy first thing we saw and thought oh crap. Under renovation lobby was disappointing. Staff was ok people walking around singing and noisy in indoor quad area. Breakfast was non existent

breakfast was coffee and cereal, that's it. They shouldn't even advertise it. I liked the bed. outlets were all on the bar.
I went to turn on a light and there was no bulb. There was an ice bucket but no ice machine. Coffee packets in the room but no coffee pot to use them in. Bring your own soap and shampoo because there is no shampoo. No floor mat by the shower but there is an extra towel.

I liked the Manager who seemed to work for at least 48 hours straight! She was always there! She hired people while I was there and from what I can tell. She hires with her heart and as a hotel manager for many years, hiring from the heart works out so welll in the long run. I wish her the very best.
I didn’t like that there was a full renovation taking place ALL OVER the hotel. Not consolidated to a certain area away from guest rooms but all over the hotel. One night the hot water was out all night. Tv was available off and on the entire time. Off way more than ON. Rooms were dirty until the Manager got my room done by cleaning it herself! Kudos again for that!. The place looked abandoned at night. The entire huge atrium and lobby was completely empty. Like no furniture at all. Nothing! . If the Manager had not been there as much, I would have left after the first night. I hope the owner keeps her. There’s not anyone I know that would work the hours she did. Especially for the money he’s paying.

Location and price. Staff were very nice and accommodating. The property is being renovated.
Because of the renovation the rooms were dusty but nice. It lacked a little cleaning and toilet paper was needed in the bathroom. Was told they needed to order some more.

Very nice hotel. Much nicer than I expected it to be. Atrium was really pretty and rooms were nice. Spacious and comfortable.
Everything was fine. I have no complaints.

When we were finally given a room that had what I paid for, the room was clean.
The first hotel room was not cleaned after the previous user and it showed. We were moved to another room but there was no microwave or refrigerator, like the ad on Booking showed. We were moved to a third room that had everything advertised. For the three days we were on the trip, we had no room service. We had no fresh towels and the trash was not taken out. For the record, I did not use the Do Not Disturb sign. The breakfast consisted of a coffee thermos, cereal, and muffins. The kitchen was under construction so there was no hot food offered. Finally, the keys my brother and I had failed to work at the end of each day. Before we could get into our room each evening, we had to have the front desk reset both our keys. The few staff we met were friendly enough but it was obvious there were not enough of them to care for a building that size.

Location is OK. Manager was courteous and cooperative.
Owners are trying to renovate it to re-open. They're not quite there yet, Common areas and hallways strewn with mud and debris. First room they gave me had dirty sheets and pillowcases, hair and gunk on flat surfaces from lack of/insufficient cleaning. Second room was OK but still had some dried residue on flat surfaces. Rooms do not feel like they have much air circulation.

The rooms were very clean. The beds were so comfy! The hotel layout was really cool with an indoor courtyard. I will defiantly book here again. It was such a great value.
I am only listing cons because these are simple places for improvement. Please let it be known - I will book here again. I was totally pleased for the price.
My key card had to be reactivated each day.
Breakfast was lacking. It was hot coffee and cereal.
My husband said the coffee was gone quickly due to the workers that were working on the property.
No ice machine or fridges in the rooms.
The water pressure in the sink was a little more than a trickle.

I liked that the rate was good and the rooms were clean and most of the night staff were very nice and helpful but the deposit was outrageous and they changed it to $100 the second night to $250 the next and said my card was declined when I had the money there. I booked online and it doesn't mention a deposit.! It was a waste of my time and gas and i was out of a room for the night.
