Friendly service with a smile. Seems like a family owned business. Room was a little nicer than expected for the price.
Shower floor was stained.

Very clean,, well thought out amenities.
It was below freezing outside. The heating unit was effective but noisy. And it took a long time for wam water to reach unit at first. Probably both would have been fine with more normal temperatures.

iI existed, and we were able to check in fairly quickly.
We’re an LGBTQ+ couple traveling for work, we checked in late at night and we’re informed that checkout was at 10:30 (our booking confirm said 11:00, but we didn’t have the energy to argue at 12:30 at night, so we let that slide). Got to the room, it is bare bones, the bed just had sheets and a thin coverlet (inappropriate given how cold it is this time of year) and two pillows that were dead flat. From the dirt and dust gathered in the corners, it was obvious that the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned between guest stays. Shower worked, but the interior showed signs of mold, so that was a little gross.
But the biggest issue we had was that the owner and his wife decided to start cleaning out rooms at 9 am (after giving us direction that checkout was 10:30), and he tried to walk into our room! I was dressing at the time, and my partner was showering, and if the chain hadn’t been on the door, he would have just barged straight in! I yelled out “Excuse me!” and he shut the door, but the damage was done. Stay ruined. The owners have no “Do Not Disturb” signs, and felt that a simple apology was sufficient for the fright that it caused us. We paid $126 for a dirty room, poor sleep, and to have our privacy invaded.

This is definitely a motel so we did not expect anything more than that. The location was perfect for us. The room was clean and looked like it had been updated and had a microwave and refrigerator.
The entrance sign was broken on one side and the entrance is a bit hidden and easy to miss.

The property was well kept and very clean. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure of the shower was enjoyable; therapeutic even.

Great location, moments from the mountain. Very clean. It was also quiet, we didn’t have to worry about other guests being loud.
Couldn’t find the ice machine.

Everything was nice, except when I checked out I called the front desk very early and let him I left a plastic container in the room and would be back in 20 minutes. Everything was there except my Gin 🤬 Also if you pay with cash he will not give your change back so make sure you have exact amount of money. He should be arrested! It wasn’t cheap Gin 🚔

There was no coffee or breakfast. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The beds weren't too good either. The price was way too much for the quality and value we received staying there. Much to be improved.

The location
The desk staff - disposition was less than friendly and English was not clear at all. I sent an email and desk staff called the room and began yelling into the saying what .... I have no idea. Another person then caked on cellphone was polite and answered my question and apologize for desk staff.

The room was clean and taken care of. For a motel I was very happy with the cleanliness, plus there was a fridge and new shower.
The bed was really hard and the heater was loud

Location worked well for hiking.
I like a bathtub.

The shower and the location.
The room smelled like someone had been smoking in there. Dust on the wall decorations and blinds, and furniture. The chairs that were in the room were nasty and stained. There was also a mildew funk smell to the room. Curtains would not close all the way. Blinds didn't work properly, would not close all the way staying open enough for people could see into the bathroom. The card reader for credit cards was not working. I was told I would have to have cash. I talked to other patrons, they also told me that the establishment only took cash. That it was a ongoing issue with the card reader. According to a couple of patrons that has stayed there a few times. The best thing about the whole place was that the bathroom had been remodeled and the shower was large. The owner also told me that checkout time was at 10:30 a.m. not 11:00 a.m.
I woke up around 8:00 went to step outside to get fresh air, and the owner was strangely standing in front of my door. Do not know how long he had been standing there or why. At the time of my stay, every other hotel was booked up. And the only other place I could find that was close to there, was an hour away. And was about $346 a night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you were desperate for a shower and needed somewhere to stay. They also did not have a working ice machine. From Reading Post from other patrons that had stayed there, it seems like the ice machine has not been working since 2019. Everything in the room was outdated, with the exception of the appliances in the bathroom refrigerator on high, barely kept anything cool. And the beds box spring and mattress were thin like they were made for a camper, I'm only guessing but they seem to be at least 15 to 20 years old.

Room 107 smelled a little musty

The location and view is very nice.
The room did not lock from the outside- no key. The mattress was very hard. The entrance from the highway was very dangerous a blind curve on highway and and cars going at an excessive speed.
