The staff were helpful in finding me a place to stay when my booking was cancelled without my knowledge.
My booking was cancelled and I did not receive notification from hotel or Booking.com to accommodate my travel plans.

Staff and location
Room was very dark and bed too soft and lumpy

The hotel has so much character and the rooms were lovely. Maria, at the front desk, was very sweet and helpful! The location was amazing. Very easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and bars. Beautiful waterfall views nearby!
Liked everything!

The property was exceptional and the staff made us feel at home

The building was authentic miners hotel filled with period antiques and decor. But- The place was too quiet and seemed stuffy. Should put a saloon on ground floor and improve the vibe.
Too Quiet - felt uneasy

Beautifully restored with an attention to detail
They advertise that there is a hottub or hot springs.... they do not have this on-site which was very disappointing. That is why I was willing to pay such a high price. They claim because of Covid that it has not been put into use again. Then please don't advertise that you have this amenity

Starting with the most wonderful and friendly staff at this property. They were as delightful as the property itself. A charming vintage property with period furnishings. It was quiet, warm, cozy and very private. We never saw another guest and they had plenty of rooms occupied. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great food, drinks, shops and entertainment was just steps out the front door of this historic property. Beds are very comfy with lots of pillows. Bathrooms were large and well appointed with great HOT water. There is simply NOT a single flaw in the property or staff..

Breakfast bags to take and go we’re a nice treat! Service and location in Ouray, Colorado was wonderful!

Knicole at the front desk was outstanding. She was the best thing about the Beaumont!
Rooms were quite overpriced for what was offered. Found it comical with the signs all over the room, instructing guests not to do this or that. The mattresses, pillows and sheets are low quality. I didn't sleep under the sheets - slept on top of them. I was traveling for work and talked to Knicole about a late check-out. She said it was $35 for a late check-out, or I could use a "conference room," which was basically a large closet, for $35. I chose the late check-out, and unfortunately, the hotel's WiFi is so slow, I couldn't use Zoom whatsoever. So that defeated the purpose of staying late. I emailed the "proprietors" to tell them what a great job Knicole did, and absolutely no response. I see the hotel is up for sale; I do hope managers who know how to operate hotels successfully take over. This hotel could be a gem, but instead, it's tired, not comfortable and doesn't offer conveniences the modern traveler looks for.

The location was great and the hotel was restored to represent the glory of the past.
We arrived in town before 4:00 but couldn't leave our luggage earlier because the doors to the lobby were locked. For the cost of the room it would have been nice to have more for breakfast than a store bought muffin and a granola bar.

Didn't know breakfast was available. Was that my fault? Did I miss that feature upon check-in?
My answers to the survey above tell my story.

The staff and ownership are great. They couldn't find us to ask a question but their first concern was our well being when they saw our car but couldn't get a hold of us.
Nothing.

Staff were great and helpful. Room was a nice historical refurb. Comfy with nice coffee and frig. Location is fantastic.
A bit expensive

If I could give this property a higher rating, I would in a heartbeat! Exceeded our expectations by far!

No breakfast or any food offerings at the Hotel
My memory of the hotel was a fine dine restaurant. No longer a part of the hotel. A very boring experience.
4.5
Beautiful restored historical hotel was a pleasure to stay in. The room was large. Bathroom was nice appointed with marble floor and sink, separate shower from bath. Thick towels. All the furnishings are refurbished antiques. Lots of coffee and real creamers offered
Lighting is poor despite a number of lamps as the room was still dark
A/c unit was very loud
Would prefer to have real glasses and mugs instead of paper and plastic.
Bottled water should be complementary
Disappointed there was no breakfast room

The historic look.
Nothing.

The hotel itself is magnificent. You can feel it has a strong history and the staff are very friendly and will tell you some stories and show you around. The architecture and interiors are wonderful, they did a great job renovating this building.

It’s an amazing historical hotel, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Beaumont is a beautiful, historic hotel nestled right in the mountains, easy walk to anything you could walk. The staff is great, the location is great, the building is great, can't say enough!
The on site hot tub wasn't open, neither was the lounge, but no one wants to work anymore so I understand the short staff, just would have been nice to know. Definitely wouldn't effect my choice though.

The restoration was remarkable. What we found amazing was the people that restored the hotel were able to order the original wallpaper which was beautiful! The heated sidewalk and parking spaces were great since there was snow in the ground during our visit.
Since the Beaumont is such a small hotel, they do not have any dining facilities (especially for breakfast) but there are wonderful places to eat within walking distance.
4.5
The property is beautifully restored and the rooms modernized nicely.
