Small hotel, not very spacious

The pool
When I arrived everything was ok thanks tíll I got the room no electricity and then put me in a handicap room. No discount?
3.3
It was quiet.
No one cleaned our rooms, the garbage was not taken out. No one gave us new towels.

• Great breakfast; coffee and tea available all day.
• Pool, spa and sauna were not crowded.
• Staff was attentive and friendly.
• Room was very spacious; bed extremely comfortable.
• An incredible value for all the amenities, free wifi, parking, and essential toiletries.
• Exceptionally clean room, facilities and lobby.
• Nice wooded view from my room.
• Hotel is tucked in off of street; easy to miss if you're attention-deficit like me.
• No elevator, so prepare for a workout or pack light if you're booked on the second floor.
• Leaving; wish I could have stayed longer.

the lobby was nice and welcoming
we got there to check in and the front desk attendant took a call in the middle of checking us in leaving us stand there, we got back from a concert at 12:30 in the morning. the AC did not work, room was very warm, the jacuzzi tub was gross. my wife scrubbed it down and cycled the jets. a bunch of stuff came out the jets. the bed was to hard, we got sick from our stay. because we fell asleep with the window open from the room because so hot. then we woke up freezing. If that wasn’t bad enough we went down to get breakfast and there was nothing left at 8:30am. supposed to go until 9 and they were already cleaning up. so we asked for more, they sent it out frozen in the middle and there were no fixings for waffles..
This was our Anniversary, we chose to stay here and enjoy ourselves without the kids for a nite and be able to relax.. I’ve traveled a lot for work. And this is by far the worst experience I’ve had in a long time…

The location was perfect for me! I was traveling from the Iron Range to the cities for an early flight. So easy to hop back on the highway.
The only bummer was that I had to leave at 4am so I missed out on the continental breakfast. Haha! So maybe offering a bag breakfast for those who won’t be around at 6am would be sweet, would have improved my stay, but did not affect my rating… since I knew I would not be around for breakfast.

Room was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. I left in less than an hour. The entire building smells of chlorine and my sheets were moist. Gross!
I was sobbing at the counter and still was not refunded any money. The woman had absolutely no empathy. Awful experience. Don't recommend.
3.3
Everything was accessible to our needs.
The staff were very racist and treated my family and myself like our presence was uninvited. I picked up the guest phone in front of the front desk personal to ask questions but she immediately and aggressively grabbed the phone out of my hands

Hot tub in room, pool, hot tub and sauna open until 11

nothing at all very disappointed
the world pool was missing jet covers in our room it was dirty the heat blower did not work only on low food sucked the hot tub wasn’t running would of been nice to know beforehand

Room was clean, location was great. Parking was easy. Husband said the breakfast was very good, only serves from 6-9.
The room we had, the noise behind the wall the beds were on was horribly LOUD. It was the sounds of a super loud bathroom fan magnified by a million so we figured it must be a furnace noise. It was like sleeping next to an idling diesel truck all night. Also, for elderly couples, NO elevator only stairs. I didn't get much sleep, so tried to sleep in and was too tired for the continental breakfast.
3.3
Very nice, quiet & clean place to stay. Staff was very friendly & the room was great! Also really enjoyed the pool/spa tub.
The only reason I gave a 9/10 was because the living room TV didn't work, the bedroom TV had no remote & the light above the spa tub didn't work.
3.3
Breakfast was about the only good thing. We did enjoy the pool.
It was in a shady neighborhood. Tucked in where you can’t see it from the road. Parking lot was full of trained dogs locked up in trailer and barking all night.

The young woman who ran the breakfast area was WONDERFUL and had a smile on her face. We gave her flowers because she just made our day.
The coffee was fresh and hot!
The lounge area was clean and updated.
The pool area was great!
The shower water was hot and our room was clean.
The shower/toilet space needs updated to match the sink/mirror space.
The hallway carpet needs to be cleaned; lots of stains.
The back entryway door that was by our room was propped open with a rock due to the key device not working. That is very unsafe.
It seemed like there were permanent residents in a few rooms. We also heard a dog barking from a room; thought it was a pet free hotel.
There was also a truck parked near the front door. It had a camper top on the truck bed that was propped up in a more permanent position, as if they were just living there. Very strange and not a welcoming sight.
The front seat staff could put a smile on their faces…taking a note from the breakfast gal.
The grounds need to be kept up better. Lots of weeds and trash.

Nothing redeeming about this hotel, it has gone downhill since we stayed there last ( 3 years ago)
Not well maintained inside or out. Rooms were dingy, not stocked well given that we had no housekeeping for our 3 night stay. We ran out of coffee, toilet paper, shampoo. etc. Outside looked very neglected with torn awnings, weeds, etc. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful when I tried to change room type ( apparently not an option if booking is made on line).
3.3
A knocking noise from pipes interrupted my sleep.

Staff.... non working spa... room heater... pool rowela

Customer service was great! Clean hotel
Some plugs didn't work, which in turn made it difficult to charge devices while keeping lights on. Booking.com seemed to have some issues with the reservation. The onsite staff fixed it up.
3.3
After staying there for two nights, I asked for a late checkout of 1 hour late and was denied
