The location was good. This was a family get together for 2 of my grandsons birthdays, so we were happy to find this motel had an open pool!

They originally put my Granddaughter and I in a handicap room that had mildew in the bathroom and stained sheets. Front desk person gladly switched our room the whole time bad mouthing the owner. When we original booked the rooms they were informed we would be having a birthday party and needed a room, we were told we could use the "Breakfast Area" after the breakfast time which was fine. We also told them that we would be having a "swimming party" included with the birthday party, they said that would be fine as long as there was an adult for each child. The day of the party, when everyone was getting the swim suits on, the 19 year old owner showed up at the door of my Son's room and said that only people who were registered could use the pool. My Son and I stepped out in the hallway with him and explained that both of us were told by phone call there would not be a problem as long as there would be an adult per child in the pool. The owner proceeded to get loud and angry, so I told him that he could get as mad as he wanted but we would be using the pool and we would be leaving right after that and he could keep that nights room fee for the use of the pool. We used the pool as planned and nothing was said and we did leave after. Family members live in this motel and the smell food cooking is very strong continuously. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!!!!!

The bed was a little firm and the pillows were very flat.

Bed was way to soft needed a new mattress.

Comfortable and nice to stay

the sill in front of the window was dirty. Mention was made at front desk. We did not want the staff to think we caused it.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Liked night time view of the bridge out my window.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. When he entered our first room the smell of somebody frying chicken was overpowering from the room next door. The staff promptly told the guests to stop and they did quickly move us to a new room. The only problem was that that room also had a weird, unpleasant smell but we didn't want to complain again. We were able to open the window and that helped with the smell. The room was clean enough and pleasant enough for a budget hotel experience.

The pool water looked cloudy so we didn't attempt to use the pool. The breakfast buffet could have offered more variety for sure.
