Everybody here is very friendly. I am in between living situations. I had to put all of my stuff in storage and I am trying to sell everything but the basics. I am going to live out of a travel trailer due to the high cost of living. So I am a little stressed but everybody is so nice, helpful, natural caring people.
From what I understand is that this property has been bought by new owners who have just started "renovating" the hotel. I look forward to seeing the changes they make.
Other people have commented that they were disappointed. Yes, the Hilton is nicer and has more to offer at breakfasts but I am not in a place in my life where I can afford $200 to 300 per night.
The beds are so comfortable!! Neighbors are quiet. Everyday housekeeping offers the whole set of new soft white towels. The towels are large and cover your whole body. I have not seen any spots on the white towels. I would recommend this hotel because the price is great, it's very clean and it's very convenient ly located close to major highways and the Clearwater/ St. Petersburg airport.

The staff I worked with was very friendly especially Walter. I appreciate the hospitality he showed me, very good employee!

I think we were not expecting such an old style hotel. previous La Quinta hotels were new and with a fresh decor. This was dull, smelly and though the staff were wonderful the experience was not what we expected from La Quinta.

The location is great for my commute
The staff is nice for the most part
The elevator is still broken , I got the same room as I was in a week ago and it was the same problems dead roaches in refrigerator and ac not working correctly. I cleaned out the refrigerator and mopped the bath room myself because it doesn’t look like housekeepers are doing it. The front desk replaced the refrigerator but i checked out the next day so it’s was useless

the beds were decently comfortable- and one lady named Millie was very kind- but other than that i did not feel welcomed
almost everything. it wasn’t clean our feet were black after walking on the filth that was carpet, there was trash under our beds from the previous guest, we had a dead cockroach in the bathroom, the TV didn’t work, it was hot. cigarette burns in bed sheets and comforters as well as stains. I called the desk, from my cellphone bc there was not a phone in our room, on our first night because the toilet wasn’t flushing and was told no one was available to assist and that maybe they could find a plunger but I’d need to come down to get it and do it myself. I did not feel safe as it is very apparent how many heavy drug users were staying at the facility. It was just very poorly ran, and filthy beyond measure. I would never recommend or stay here again

The bed was fairly comfortable.
The entire hotel is looking very old. The colors if walls to carpets were very old and dated. The bathroom toilet was not clean. The tubs finish is wearing off....old and tired. The carpet was old and certain not conducive to wanting to walk around on it in bare feet. The coffee at the breakfast was awful. The eggs and sausage didn't look appetizing so we ate elsewhere. Will not stay again.th

Someone at front desk to help
Room was filthy, dirty, damaged and nasty. And the price wasn’t even all that great!

Room tables and pictures were dusty and floor needed to be vacuumed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, sink leaked and all they did was put a bucket underneath to catch the water. Stayed for a week and housekeeping never came to clean or offer clean linen
8.0 / 10.0
The staff was very nice and accommodating the only issue I had was the housekeeping women who don't speak English and are lazy when the cleaning the rooms I had to go to the front desk but once I did that it was done by the assistant supervisor or manager
Housekeeping they need some housekeepers that actually speak English I feel like the head of housekeeping is very biased it seems to only hire her race that speaks her language and they were lazy on cleaning the rooms properly when I was staying there for almost a week.

Millie is the BES! Extremely helpful!
We sat in the courtyard three hours waiting for a room to be cleaned. Millie helped us check in an hour earlier. The bed was awful! I had to hold onto the side ad not to roll to the sagging middle. Very outdated hotel.

Staff was VERY helpful and
breakfast was amazing the room was huge and had a jacuzzi in our room to relax honestly couldn’t of asked for a more specific requests
The pool wasn’t inside , And the downstairs halls smelled like wet dogs , there wasn’t a vacuum in the room to clean up but you will have this from time to time.

Our room was comfortable. However, there was an odor. The hotel is in need of repair or upgrading, but I would stay again just to make sure it's not the same room.
