We were heading back and forth to Destin beach from Tennessee and needed a stop over for our little girl. Pelham was a great mid-point, and this Quality Inn was the perfect place for our needs. I'll admit that my favorite thing about the hotel/motel was the price. Every other place I found around Birmingham cost $50-$75 more, which could be better spent at the beach. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Our bathtub didn't have a drain stopper, but the front desk girl brought one up and installed it in the bathtub. Another great thing is the breakfast in the morning: waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, pastries, yogurt, something for everyone.
The desk chair was a bit worn out and a couple lamps need to be replaced. My wife was worried that the refrigerator wasn't cold enough when we arrived, and that our perishables would stay fresh. Personally everything seemed to be fine in the morning. The beds are a bit hard for my taste, but everything did the job.

I liked the layout of bldg. The driveway is well designed and maintained….easy to navigate to parking spaces.
Steps leading up to 2nd floor had some sort of sticky liquid that had spilled from something large. The amount of liquid was all over stairs, upstairs breezeway and at base of stairs. Tile floor in room was very dirty…it needed a good cleaning of the layer of grime. Bathroom floor had a mushy spot in front of toilet….probably due to overflowing toilet or bathtub.

Good location
There were several people staying there down from our room smoking pot and smell was drifting into our room all night until 3 am

Absolutely nothing!
I was told by the manager that me and my friends wouldn’t be able to stay there that night. We had drove three hours from georgia to see a concert and was told when we booked by the front desk that we could book and check in at 18 years old. We had no place to stay that night left stranded in a new city.

Comfy beds
Fridge in room didn't work. Big roach in ice bucket in room. Comforter had cigarette burns in it

The staff and the room was ok but nothing special. Fridge didn’t work great at all. Nothing else that we liked about this place.
I’m so disappointed that this hotel states they serve breakfast! We literally rented this hotel due to it said they served breakfast. It was not a breakfast. More like a couple of snacks and nothing else! We had absolutely nothing to eat for breakfast. We ended up having to leave and go spend more money just to get a complete real food breakfast. And I’m completely upset about it. I feel like if you spend more than $100 renting a room then you need to be served a real breakfast with actual food! Coffee and snacks is not a complete breakfast. We were in town for work and when we arrived to the hotel last night we only had credit cards. We had our work trailer connected and couldn’t leave after we arrived due to our trailer being connected. They serve only a small selection of drinks in the lobby and no diet drinks at all. They dont accept any cards for the drinks. Only cash. Which means we had to stay thirsty and without drinks because they didn’t have the option of buying a drink with a card. I really wish we could get our money back! That’s how dissatisfied I am with this place. They don’t offer hardly anything to guests after paying a good amount to stay in the room! I really wish we would have stayed at the Sleep Inn down the road. At least they offer a real breakfast and drinks to be bought with a card!

The location was good and staff was nice
The door to room stuck hard to open and close. Also, they were out of most things for breakfast that I eat, no yogurt l, no toast, and only one cereal to choose from.

Made reservation through Booking.com for a ♿️ HANDICAPPED room. Arrived 20 minutes later, was put in a regular room, no adequate explanation. NOT Booking.com's fault! Had just gotten out of hospital. Did NOT get a call-back from corporate. Will NOT recommend.

Didn't eat the breakfast. I chose this hotel cause it was the cheapest one. won't be going back.
The door 🚪 was hard to open and close. I needed to check out later and they had the nerve to say I'd be escorted out by the cops if I didn't leave by 11

Nice quiet room. Very clean.
A little tired, but not to bad.

Rooms need updating. Wondered if there were sketchy long term guests in a nearby room. Would have been better if our room was in a different location.

Nothing.

we liked that we could bring our dogs. We liked that we could step outside our door and be able to take our dogs out to potty without having stairs to contend with. We loved the location as well. Plenty of restaurants near by.
The room was a little run down but it was clean. usually you do get the run down rooms when you travel with a dog so we were expecting that and it was okay.

Convenient.
The hotel was dirty. The exterior walkways were sticky with spilled beverages and had litter in the bushes. The floors in the room had dirt in the corners and on the baseboards. The bed was comfortable and at least we didn't get bedbugs.

Poor, out of many items. Lady said truck had not arrived.
Surprise charge of $50 pet fee that no one made us aware of until we were checking out.
