Breakfast was excellent and the location was good. Far enough off the road that noise was not a problem. Really a great find for us!!
It did get a little warm so a ceiling fan would have been good to have. Not a big problem but the toilet paper was really thin.

the property was very quaint and peaceful. So many little intentional touches and decor to make it feel like home. everything was very well kept felt very comfortable. Everyone working there was extremely welcoming and inviting.

The property was adorable, clean, great owner and felt like home away from home. It is close to so many great restaurants and activities. The breakfast was amazing and the house where the breakfast was served was quaint and cozy.
No black out curtains which made the room bright when we were trying to go to bed early for a weekend event but not a huge complaint because also loved the brightness of the room during the day!

If they carried hot chocolate, would have love that. As well as have it in the guess house. More choices
Of beverages.

The breakfast was awesome!
Bed was a little firmer than my preference but still comfortable.

very welcoming and the staff are amazing

The breakfasts are consistently tasty and filling. I have been coming to the Prairie Guest House for a number of years and have stayed in different rooms- all are lovely.

Clean, spacious, and very inviting, friendly staff. The location is within minutes of everything needed, yet seems like a nice little, tucked away private spot. Ceilings were high, plants were real, care was obviously put into keeping this a nice place.
I would have liked to have access to heating/cooling in each individual room, or at least access to a fan, rather than heat and air being universal to the whole building. I'm used to being a bit cooler, or at least have air moving to help me sleep. Overall, it's a minor detail and would not keep me from recommending this establishment.

Beautiful old home that was completely refurbished. Spotlessly clean. Lovely decorating. Huge bathroom. Nice grounds. Convenient to interstate. Fantastic breakfast served in the wonderful main house with great background music. The decorating in the dining area and inn lobby was wonderful. The owner has a great eye.
Some road noise—but what can you do about that?

Comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast

Great breakfast in a lovely room. Staff was accommodating and kind. The location was wonderful making access to the north side of the city east. It sits on a busy street but is a beautiful farmstead so one feels rural. Great parking as well.
The bed needs updated. Otherwise it was perfect!

there wasn't a fan in our room

The property was beautiful and well-kept. I enjoy history and the historic home used for the bed and breakfast was lovely, clean and full of antique like furniture. It certainly had charm and I was immediately excited upon arrival. We met John, immediately and he was welcoming and very kind. This was our first bed-and-breakfast experience, so we truly did not understand what the expectations were.
First, let me say that my fiancé and I are on our second marriage and we are both almost 50 years old. We just wanted a nice little night away, a nice dinner and then enjoy the atmosphere of the bed and breakfast. Issues started when we found out that there was not an alternative type of transportation to a fine restaurant that we planned to go to. We tried to call for a taxi which they said they were not available at all in the area and we called for an Uber which at the lowest price was around $36 one-way for a 5 mile trip. Some of the information on Booking.com was just plain inaccurate. However, I had spoke with Amber on the phone and she said that they probably needed to update their information with Booking.com. For example, we were under the impression there was a shuttle that operated on the property. Clearly, there was not. This Information could have been easily updated. Also, we expected such things as Ice and a microwave for heating up lunch leftovers. They could have been conveniently stationed with the tea and coffee station and fridgethat was literally outside our door in the entrance of the house. For some reason no ice or a microwave was available in the house where all of the guest rooms were. They were located in another building across the yard/walkway. Had to call the owner to get the information, because we wanted some ice.I felt awkward and intrusive entering the building/home and retrieving the ice and using the microwave. However, that could be just me. Coffee and tea station was right outside our door. Around 6 AM, I heard the Keurig perk up for the first cup of coffee of the day for some happy traveler. people were happily talking at normal level right outside of our door, and I do mean right outside of the door. To the point, that my fiancé opened the door and made a comment to them. Which they asked questioningly, oh, did we disturb you? This was around 6:20 AM.They continued on and on after that.

The midcentury decor
Nothing;. It was all as advertised.

Beautiful and quaint bed and breakfast. Easy to find right off a main road. It was the perfect location for a wedding at the Bluffs at Connor Prairie! Parking was close to the room and it was easy to do the self check in and find our room.
I wish we could have stayed longer to check out the main house and yoga studio! We just didn’t have time to stay around.
4.7
The room was clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. Breakfast was good and the room where it was served was inviting. We would happily stay here again.
We would have liked a light or some reflectors at the driveway entrance to make it easier for our after-sundown arrival.

The breakfast was phenomenal. The room was decorated very nice. John was very nice to chat with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast was great!

We enjoyed our stay in this traditional bed and breakfast located across the street from Conner Prairie. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet, the hosts were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the temperature was good even though we couldn't control our own room's temperature. Our room did not have a fridge but there was a common use fridge in the entry room. The coffee station was also there which was nice. We only had breakfast once, but it was nice. There is no menu, just what they are serving for the day. All in all, we would highly recommend. Thank you for our stay.
I can't think of anything I would change.

Loved the location we went to symphony on the prairie and it’s right across the street ! Easy check in beds are so comfortable and we didn’t hear any of the other guests ! Shower was nice and large bathroom
Couldn’t check in on computer internet was too slow but said it was optional. No USB port for cell phone to charge .

The rooms were clean and the mattress was quite comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional along with the owners! Thank you!

Loved the breakfast. Had requested twin beds but got a king bed. That turned out ok, and the bed was comfortable.
The wind rattled the one window in the afternoon, but it stopped at night.

The house was beautiful and clean and very well decorated and you could tell alot of time and effort and love had gone into it. We felt at home and were able to relax. The host was friendly at breakfast and we enjoyed chatting with him. The check in directions were easy to follow. We would definitely come again and recommend Prairie Guest House to others!
My only feedback would be to offer the guests a choice with the breakfast egg option. While i loved the veggie omelet, my husband would have liked the option of just eggs and cheese. But we really loved our stay!

Location was beautiful. We did not have breakfast.
A trash can in the bed room. Perhaps more bottled water replaced in the room or stocked in a common area.
4.7
The property is really nice! Our room was very cute and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast is definitely gourmet...but if you like regular breakfast food, make sure to tell them a head of time.
It was a wonderful get away for my hubby and myself.
The room needed a blow dryer, if you do not like strange gourmet food blends, tell them when you book.
