The maid we met was super nice, and very professional.
My wife wanted a water one night drink machines did not take a debit card, no cash. Asked at front desk for options? Scott night associate offered me $2.00 to buy a water, I refused his generosity, but Scott said take it, it's no big deal. I said okay, but told him I would pay it back before I checked out.
At check-out I gave Ester $2.00 to give to Scott. She put the cash in an envelope and told me she would staple it to his time card.
Upon check-in reminded Ester at the desk that I had a registered service dog. She immeadiately told me it did not matter I would be charged for a pet fee. I told Ester she was a registered service dog, not a pet and according to ADA she could not charge me. I said I have her registration, asked my son to go get it so I could show it to her. Ester immeadiately responded rather rudely saying "did I asked you for the registration". After this, of course my defenses came up. We finished the check-in, no further in-counters with Ester until check out.
Beds where extremely hard and uncomfortable. All rooms around me had young black men, age 18 - 25 with one adult chaperone, maybe a college basketball team. Slamming of doors until 2am or later.
All garbage cans in hall and at entrance running over entire stay.

I loved the friendly staff. Ms Terry was very helpful with local locations and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed at check in, Breakfast was great and service was too. with friendly staff
I didn’t like the smell of the room. It smelt of urine. Now I just sprayed some Lysol around took the smell away for a while. But from was great and cleaned.

They friendly people I did real with.
No one was at the desk when we got there. I rang the bell many times and waited 15min or so before someone came.
The coffee was very weak. Our second day a lady asked and I told her so she went and made more that was very good.

Breakfast was really great with lots of options.
Had to go request towels as no one cleaned room or brought towels.

Good welcome, nice new feel to the place, good breakfast. Lots of free parking. Quiet location. Scotsboro itself is nice, has everything you'd need
The world's noisiest ice machine was next to our room, which was audible when working or being used. Personally a cover on the toilet seat is preferred to not having one. Location means you need to drive a couple of miles for food.

Everything was great!
The first room given the drainer wouldn’t drain.

Close to home and indoor pool. The front desk lady was extremely nice.
The breakfast attendee was rude to one of the little girls staying with us. She spoke to all of the older guests but ignored us. She then turned off the lights while we were eating but told the older couple they were free to stay because she can't make people leave until they are finished.

We love it here. This is where we go for a hideaway weekend.
The beds are normally comfortable. This rooms bed seemed a little worn out.

Breakfast was GREAT! There was a good variety of hot food options which is hard to find since Covid. The area in the back of the building was very nice. The room was very good. I loved that they had a washer and dryer to use and a computer with a printer for anyone to use!!
THE POOL TEMPERATURE WAS FREEZING!!!! I spent the extra money to stay here vs a regular hotel because of the indoor pool but it was too cold to get in and swim!! I was EXTREMELY disappointed about that, as I was here with 2 kids for Christmas and their birthdays. So I feel like I wasted my money that could've been used for another gift for each of them or maybe a museum ticket or something. Also, I would've liked breakfast to be served a little later than it is.

The only problem is the drive in to the parking lot. The pot holes are a major problem

Everything went very well. Excellent building, cleanliness and location
Elevator did not work. We stayed three days and they did not know when elevator work be fixed. Not a good situation for 2 seventy year olds with back problems.

Elevator was broken and we were on the top floor. No discount was offered
