Disappointing.

Nothing really stood out, everything that could have been good was average.

A\C did not work, it was 97° outside. Dirty wash cloth hanging from the shower rod, and only one electrical outlet in the room.

way over priced for the area and facilities, continental breakfast was skinny oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and burnt coffee

Loud pinging noises from pipes in the wall frequently meant my sleep was horrible.

Great location and beautiful property!

There were tiny ants all over the bathroom! They stated it was due to not using harmful chemicals.

Very good

Nice inn with comfy rooms. The hotel only seems to use pictures of the lobby building, the actual rooms are motel-style in other buildings.

Breakfast was a bit lacking - just yoghurt, waffles, a couple of pastries, and toast. We shared our room with a large population of ants.

Desk person nice, facility not so much!

Desk person willing to atleast help us with another room, which was not as bad as the first.

Our first room had a small frig. that was disgusting. Filthy black moldy stuff in it. Showed to desk clerk and he said sorry and got us another room. New room had used soap on the floor left by previous user. It also had dirty coffee machine. Rooms were non- refundable, so we were stuck. Whoever cleans the rooms does not do a good job! I would not recommend that place to anyone.

Could have been perfect, wish it was

The room decor was really nice and updated. great duvee. Super clean and pretty grounds set back from the main road.

Was told the hot tub was open only to arrive and told it was closed (was one of the deciding factors in choosing the hotel). Woken up on New Year's Day to a manager scolding an employee for much longer than necessary in the room next to ours...it was horrible to listen to.

We will not stay here again.

The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The towels, sheets and duvet covers were stained, including blood stains on the bedding, yuck! The sheets were too small for the bed and did not stay tucked in. The sheets were old and worn out. The breakfast was terrible, very little choice and no healthy choices at all, We stayed for 4 nights. Neither the Kleenex nor the coffee was replaced daily.

Well try somewhere different next time

Beds were warm and comfortable. Room was well set-up with microwave and refrigerator. Room was clean and temperature was good and included both heat and air conditioning.. The hotel grounds were well kept.

Could hear talking and running of water in other rooms. There were people talking in the parking lot both late at night and early in the morning. The breakfast bag that was given out in the morning had a burrito in it that was tiny and had very little taste. The shutters on the windows looked good but did not do the job of shutting out the light.

Refrigerator was disgusting! They have a 48 hr cancellation policy. I was up for work and when the job stopped abruptly I got to pay for two extra nights.

Worst than expected

The staff was very kind and welcoming.

Everything else can definently be updated,it was extremely hot in our room as the a.c. only went to 68 degrees and even with the window opened it was still way too hot.As well as very loud people screaming and laughing as if they were on narcotics.

Avoid

The location was between the Avenue of the Giants and Calistoga. I could have stayed in Ukiah. I would have more hotel selections, and places to eat, etc.

This hotel may have been okay by Willits' standard, but it did not reach expectations. This was suppose to be the best hotel I stayed in on this trip. But it failed. Never in my life had I stayed in a room where the toilet seat was chipped, the timer for the hot tub was broken off, and management refused to honor their word. This place advertises $5 off coupons for breakfast, but made no attempt to support their advertising. Basically, they blew it off. Secondly, they had a dispute with the restaurant (who they had worked out an arrangement) to provide specific meals with a $5 off coupon per person. The restaurant has been stiffed by patrons.

Quiet location

Water built up in the shower and got the floor wet. The toilet was very low and wasn’t secured to the floor. Other than that, one of the best places we’ve stayed so far. If it wasn’ for toilet, it wound be a 10 for us!

Likes: The gift certificate for breakfast at the Lumberjack; the pool and hot tub were open; quiet room. Good quality towels, except the pool towels. Good location...close to everything. The staff member Rose, who checked us in, was very pleasant and helpful.

The room needed TLC and definitely updating. The furniture had seen better days (there were chips and worn areas). The wall lamp shades were askew which left an impression that the cleaning staff isn't thorough.
