Nice room, comfortable bed. The building entrance room has been remodelled and it is beautiful. The exterior is really quite nice with wonderful flower gardens. Nice eating are out back. Easy ride into Aspen, McClure Pass, Marble and Independence Pass. Two main roads are nearby but even with window open could not hear the traffic during the night.
Breakfast was standard Comfort Inn fare, which is all right, but lacks good biotic yogurt and granola. Too much sugared cereals. Eggs prepared fine, not too salty. We wondered about recycle. The cups are green but the utensils are plastic. Wonder if they could use regular silverware.

I thought the flowers out front were beautiful. The lobby was updated and welcoming.
The layout of the hotel was confusing— no clear signs telling you where the stairs were.

this hotel is in a great place and tucked nicely between mountains.
beautiful early morning views.

property feels like a little dated.
a/c did not work well since staff left the window open which we only noticed int he morning but things were ok in the morning as temps cooled donw.

The staff were awesome even though they were shorthanded they took care of every request and were present to help guess when needed
Slamming doors every door slams from exterior doors to interior room doors. It would be nice to have soft clothes mechanisms.

The remodel was great!
Although the bathroom was new the shower had mold in the shower

The beds and linens were great. Loved that you could turn heater completely off. Staff was very nice.
Walls thin, could hear neighbors tv most of the night. Not as clean when I arrived as I would have liked.

Jill at the front desk was great! Very helpful and friendly! Great location and comfortable.
Pool nice but small.

The receptionist (unfortunately I forgot her name probably because I was tired ) was really friendly and festive in her holiday outfit which I enjoy seeing. The room was clean and very spacious. I also enjoy a hotel with a bathtub which is becoming rare.
It would be great if it was pet friendly. The water in the tub was lukewarm. But besides that I had a nice stay.

The breakfast was great, and the stay overall was fine. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. They supplied toiletries and fresh towels. Took about 30-40 min to get to Aspen but there is public transportation offered by bus just a 10 min walk from hotel. There is also a gas station right next to the hotel.
Everything was fine

the place was very tidy, newly decorated, comfortable beds, easy check in/out, breakfast was also v nicewe are glad we make the decision to stay there and not in Aspen town.

It was conveniently located close to downtown Carbondale. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate with a good variety.
Check in was not until 4pm, which was too late for us so we had to sit and wait in the parking lot. The pet fee was quite high for this type of hotel. Our room was directly next to the laundry and housekeeping was very loud outside our door at 7am.

The parking lot was nice, the beds were comfortable, the staff was not the nicest. Also, you need a a fitness room.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. I loved that I could bring my dog. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect after a long drive. And they provide bicycles, so you can ride around town( too snowy for this trip).
Someone above made some big “bumps” in the night.

The staff was great! Everyone was nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good for a free breakfast with eggs, bacon, and a waffle bar.
The beds. The comforters felt like paper towels and the mattresses were really painful. I woke up with sore shoulders every morning and could not get comfortable on them

The desk clerk, Jo Jo was the best. She made us feel welcome and took good care if us.

price was a little high

The room was very large and comfortable. The grounds were nice, with mature trees and beautiful flower gardens. The location was convenient.
I'm not super-picky, but I saw a few minor room cleanliness issues that were a little troubling. Also, the bathroom plumbing (leaky sink faucet, faulty shower control, slow-draining tub) needs some attention.

Room numbers were confusing.
We booked for 1 night, and although checkout time was much later in the morning, housekeeping came knocking on the door at 8:07 am.

Location very close to highway exit was a plus. Breakfast included. Air conditioner worked well, comfortable bed, great pillows, well manicured lawn and flowers. Outside was beautiful. Other than a couple minor things it was the best hotel we stayed at on our 7 day travel
Front desk person lacked customer service qualities. When we asked where our room was, she just pointed while looking the opposite direction.
Toilet had issues flushing, curtains do not close so the outside lights lit the room since we were on the front of the building. My puppy found a dental floss pick and a pretzel on the floor next to the bed.

Really nice! Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Great location, easy to get to and out of. Beautiful grounds. Nice to have something hot for breakfast other than Danish and juice.
Pool is small but OK. Hot tub could use some stronger jets.
