the manager was extremely helpful in troubleshooting some issues.

where to even start - we got there around 1 am the night we stayed and the room was sticky wet, there was barely any air condition running, we woke up feeling quite literally wet. we left to get breakfast and came back to our room to find workers in our room replacing the AC unit and had 'cleaned' our room without ANY NOTICE, no warning, no phone call no anything that anyone would be in our room and they were in there with all of our belongings. while looking for a very precious item to us, we found a TON of cockroaches EVERYWHERE - under the bed, around the fridge. when this was brought to the staffs attention nothing was done aside from giving us the GM's phone number, there were no security cameras at all around the place other than in the lobby and the secure was of this place is a JOKE. the place was absolutely disgusting and CLEARLY unsafe for my family to stay in. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Overpriced on the beach

Location , it was on the beach.

I asked for an upper balcony room and was given bottom floor. Which is charged the same amount to only see the parking lot and a dune. If I knew this I could have saved 150 and got a room without a balcony. It was useless. The bathroom ceiling was coming down and the shower curtain was ripped. There were pieces of the wall missing in the bathroom.

The price that’s it!

We decided not to go for multiple reasons. One main reason was that we continued to communicate with Booking.com to get in touch with the hotel and we could never get in touch with the hotel. The hotel called us last minute on the day that we were supposed to check in literally two hours before I check in, so our questions and concerns that we had been trying to communicate previously all week never got addressed then when we communicated our situation when we talked to them, they still tried to charge us even though we didn’t go and even though we and booking.com tried to communicate with them several times I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Dog friendly, perfect location, great value. 5 days no regrets

The location is excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good value. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee and oj was very tasty.

The parking lot was very tight, they could work on fixing up the rooms bit. Pool was closed or needed to be closed professionally.

Terrible for the amouth of money that we’d spend for it.

That it was close to the beach.

The rooms had moisture to them and mold. The sink was clogged and keep clogging while there, it was a musty smell in the room and the floor was damped. The breakfast was awful.

Great location and the woman checking us in was amazing and super friendly.

The do it yourself waffles were amazing.

Our room was dune front on the bottom floor so we didn’t have any cell service in our room and the WiFi wouldn’t work in there either. Had to go outside to make phone calls or use our phones.

Weekend away

The location on the beach is amazing. The pool is very clean and has new chairs. Bedding is new and comfortable. It's an old hotel but you can tell they keep it clean despite holes in the wall etc...I do appreciate that it's pet friendly.

Do away with the check in kiosk. Took too long. Person was having some problems. Had problems understanding him. People don’t want to waste 30 minutes. They are just ready to get to their room & relax. People to people contact is wonderful & the employee behind desk on Friday, May 12 was fantastic. Give him a raise or bonus. He tried to locate luggage carts for us also!!!!!!!

Cleanliness is next to godliness. They need to clean up.

A comfortable bed. Consistent hot shower. Easy access to the ocean beach.

Room and property was not as clean and welcoming as it should be. Some furniture looked stained and unkempt. There were junk piles of construction material visible in stairwells. Cleaning staff would leave used towels from room dumped in hall outside the room door - presumably for pickup later (really?). Vending machines looked like they hadn't been restocked or maintained in years. Very poor selection of items for snacks.

Nice stay at OBX

It was right on the beach and allowed is to stay parked the afternoon we checked out.

We wished the breakfast stayed open until 10am. Closing at 9 made up het up each morning early to get breakfast.

The bathroom door didn't close right, the pool wasn't open, we were wiped to get an ocean front room and didn't, the beds were small and pillows flat, the shower didn't have great pressure, the staff was less than helpful

walkways,steps,parking lot all filthy, riddled with dog feces. mold in shower , shower needs caulked,paint falling off doors. entire place needs pressure washed and painted. it’s repulsive. breakfast area is tiny leaving you shoulder to shoulder with strangers in a very tight area. what about Covid?

the fridge, microwave and a light didn’t work the first day. the fridge had been off for so long it had an odor and the freezer had something growing. the bathroom door knob was broke. when I checked in one of the staff at the desk was unpleasant
