My husband had bad experiences with the unprofessional staff everytime he asked for something.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
Breakfast here is a joke. There was a waffle maker, toast, hard powered donuts and mini muffins. Was out of coffee so I ended up getting breakfast stuff at the gas station next door as well as a coffee. So much for included Breakfast here.

Adequate and comfortable room. Wifi worked well and facility had adequate parking. VERY friendly and extremely helpful staff.
Nothing other than train horns periodically but Choice Hotels has nothing to do with passing trains.

Price is reasonable for area. Clean enough. Staff friendly.
Ice machine broken, no dish in microwave so couldn't heat my dinner, smelled like fresh plastic, bed was cheap and squeaky springs. Clearly new owners or management with diminished quality.

There are not a lot of things I liked.
When we open the fridge to store a bottle of water we had, there was a old milk bottle inside which means they do not clean very well.
The hotel was dirty, nobody cleaned the room on those days we stayed there, we had to ask for a toilet paper, soap, did our beds. They advertise the hotel has included breakfast, but they just offer old bread and the lady who sets the bread on the shelves does not use any hygiene.

It was near Mesilla village which is fantastic.
Breakfast was poor, waffle machine out of work. The room was smelly and hot when we arrived.

There wasn't any. They said a pipe burst so there was no breakfast, no water to brush my teeth or shower.
They charged me $40 extra after I had booked & confirmed online stating I had a pet. $ 40 dollars extra for taxes & pet stay is excessive. Plus taxes were included online in my confirmation

The staff were attentive and took care of our problems as soon as they could. The beds were comfortable The room was quiet.
The downstairs was being renovated so they put us upstairs after we asked them to. The pool was full of green water, and all the chairs were broken. The first room was so filthy, it looked like someone had vomited on the floor, there was hair in the drain of the tub, and the sink was nasty. The second room had dried up cheese dip in the vent for the ac, and the sink and tub were so dirty my friend got some cleaning spray from staff and a rag and cleaned the sink, toilet and tub herself. It was completely awful. The waffle maker was broken and breakfast was a bust. A message to the owner regarding our experience was never responded to. NEVER AGAIN.

The bed was good. Water pressure strong. New flooring, and bath tub was replaced. Fridge was adequate.
Hotel was under construction which is a good thing but construction debris and dust was on hallway floors. Dust in room, too. No trash can in room, no coffee. Furniture was worn, chair looked so dirty we didn't want to sit in it. Not very good wall colors/design. A mish mash of good and bad.
