Housekeeping was unprofessional. Right away I had one argue over a comforter with me, it had a smell and stain. She also rolled her eyes at my husband lol. Then one walked in the room even though do not disturb was on the door. My husband was on nights, so a day sleeper. We did not leave a tip for our stay, it was not deserving. I should also add the pics of how the room was not cleaned very well before we checked in.

Good hotel. Staff was nice, the room was perfectly clean. Shower was good (pressure ok and very warm). Fridge and microwave worked, no issues with the internet. Bed was comfortable. Heater worked very well.
Breakfast was good even though they didn't have fruits - they had hot food (eggs, burger patties, gravy), waffle-maker, cereals, bagels, bread, muffins etc. Tea is the yellow lipton so bring yours if you want something better.
SLC is a small city so it was very easy to drive 10-15 min to arrive downtown to visit, and so much cheaper than staying downtown.
As you can see on the map, the hotel is next to the highway so no surprise: you will have noise.

The beds were really comfy, and I liked the pillows. I'm kinda a sucker for those things. I'm a privileged butthead at home with a purple mattress, and so usually when I take trips, I wake up tired and achy and sore. But this time, none of that.
My wife is even worse than I am with beds and pillows, and she liked them too.
The fact that it's right off the freeway was great. It made getting to where we were going to super accessible. If you're looking for a place to stay on the way to somewhere, this is without a doubt the best access to the freeway.
Parking could have been better. I mean, there is parking, just not a lot for the hotel specifically. It's right next to a bunch of stores, and they almost share parking lots. So you could probably get away with parking in one of the other spots, but I wouldn't want to risk it. I imagine towing happens a lot there.
I'm a lazy bum, so I would have loved the breakfast time to be extended to 10am instead of 9am. But it's no big deal. I often skip breakfast anyway. I just happened to have run a half marathon that morning and was quite hungry. lol

Location to where I was scheduled
The hotel had a very musty smell and the rooms needed a DEEP cleaning. Sheets were not smooth, pocky feel to them. The AC was either really cold or barely cool.

The 2nd floor smelt like someone was smoking pot. We could smell it the full length of the hallway.

Cheese eggs and biscuits and gravy were very good. Reception staff was excellent.
Would like to have a discount.

If you're looking to stay somewhere close to SLC or Lagoon this place is excellent.

Great service, clean room, and just a simple easy stay. Easy hassle-free check in and check out. Always had fresh towels and bed made, which I didnt expect so it was a nice surprise.
My microwave turn table was broken so the food wouldn't rotate and my refrigerator wouldn't chill properly. My food stayed cold but barely.

It was quiet, it was clean, pretty good location.
Charging me double when I looked at my bank statement and made a dumb excuse for it when I asked why they charged me double.

it was convenient to the interstate and therefore it was close to our doctor’s office
Poor selection of good restaurants nearby; the hotel staff certainly did not go out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would have expected the staff to tell us about the hours for breakfast and the pool when we checked in. The facility is old and needs updated. Will not stay there again.

Location was good, but very noisy because it is close to freeway.rooms could have better windows for sound proofing.

I've stayed here 3 times. I've been happy each time. The beds have always been comfortable. The breakfast is good. Lots of items to choose from. The Wi-Fi works rather well also.
