A waste of money and time

After staying, there was nothing that we liked .

First the front desk staff was very unfriendly. Then when paying for the room they added a $50 charge to it , saying it was some kind of deposit for the room after I already paid for the room , next the parking lot was way to small , had a hard time trying to get my truck into and out of the parking spot . Only two of the five vending machines work and the prices are so high that crazy , $2.75 for a candy bar . Then the breakfast in the morning was just nasty looking and there was no way I was eating anything from that room . Oh , forgot there was blood on the walls in the bathroom , the shower curtain rod was just barley hanging on the wall .

Decent for what the price, but probably won't stay again.

The price and location of the hotel were what sold us on the property.

The rooms need a good cleaning. There were stains on the carpet, especially around the little trash bin. The room also got extremely humid if the AC wasn't on full blast. Additionally, the toilet was not secured to the floor properly. The breakfast was adequate.

Disappointing

When we checked in, the the front staff were very nice with their courtesy.

One of the female staff didn’t have manners. She came into the breakfast room, then picked food from pan with her fingers and put into her mouth there! Even kids know they should use tongs and eat when they sit at the table.

Outdated but comfortable

Hotel was in a convenient location near shops and restaurants. Desk staff was very friendly when we checked in. Hotel has a neat log cabin look outside. They offered a hot breakfast which was unexpected. The beds were comfortable. Loved the walkout sun deck.

The room was outdated but that’s common in Mackinac and up north. The pool area didn’t have a bathroom or hot tub. Carpeting throughout the hotel was dingy and old. Breakfast room was super small and got crowded very easily.

If I knew what I know now I would just booked elsewhere

Property is convenient to restaurants and shops

Some sort of “manager” was beyond rude harassing us for money kept calling us before we even checked in even though we don’t have to pay till check in. Accused us of swearing at him because he misheard us. Not much customer service here. I know people deal with all types of visitors on a daily basis but geez not much personality here. Place is also nothing special, nothing like the pictures online and pool was just awful.

Dirty and smelly rooms. Unfriendly staff and top it all off.... They ran my debit card for extra money while I was there. AND NO WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOIT A DEPPSIT.

Outside of building is very attractive. The rest of my visit was okay but not really what I was hopi

Breakfast room is very small. No hot cereal, jam or peanut butter, or tea bags. Sausages in an electric frying pan on a table near the door, not very safe. Coffee cups are individually plastic wrapped which slowed everyone down.

Staff did not smile or greet customers. No sense of appreciation for coming to their hotel. Could not figure out how to print a receipt for my stay.

How close it was to the main area of mackinaw city

The room was not good. The air conditioner leaked and we had wet carpet. A huge stain like someone puked by the bathroom. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. When we told the hotel manager about he said we would just have to deal with it cause they don’t move room once your there. No daily cleaning even though they said they did. My husband complained and kept complaining till they moved us. The new room was way better.

Sad about the way this turned out.

The location was pretty good. I wouldn’t really say it is “Bridgeview” though.

Room was not clean. Had a mouse in our room. Tried to use phone in room to call front desk and it didn’t work. Man at front desk made me feel very uncomfortable. Pool room has mildew and mold smell. Was told because I didn’t complain during my stay, my complaint meant nothing. We we literally so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving and didn’t stay the night.

Loved the log look on outside and balconies. Grandkids loved the pool

Breakfast room very tight to get around in. Food was good.

Hinges on our room door was extremely loud. Some rips in curtins.

Pleasant

This place was fine. We needed pet-friendly stop over on our way south. The room was ok, not the biggest or fanciest but was a good value. It was easy to get our dog walked in a great little neighborhood behind the hotel.

Room windows are right at the walkways do it's a little noisy and the window unit for heat is also a little noisy. But, again, it was a good value for a stop over and good for the dog.

The sink was out side of bathroom. location of room, supposed to be bridge view it was a view of the building housing the pool. Parking lot was hard to get around With the view I had it should have been a 50.00 room not 160.00..will not be back air bnb is the way to go.

You can hear guests next to you all night as if they were in the same room as you. The rooms were rough and felt unsafe during my stay. The woman who checked me in was cold and not welcoming at all. The dresser frame was popped out. The toilet made noise all night. The room didn’t feel fresh.
