close to the hospital we needed to go to. many options in the area for food delivery . pool was nice
not necessarily an issue that is fixable , but the garbage trucks at 545AM were a big wake-up call .

It was in a great location
My room was not very clean it was picked up. I also didn’t realize I had to pay $14 a day for parking and a small tight area. My key card would not let me in the building and I had to carry all my stuff around the block to get into the front door and it was pouring and very windy. I called the front desk and told me I had to come to the front not fun. they were not very friendly there.

I was only there for one night. The Hotel has an excellent location within Syracuse.
The room was great, and parking convenient. Price is pretty reasonable.
Service at the hotel's Starbuck's was great. Would stay here again.
A bit confusing check in and the elevators seems to be like in different buildings, and the elevator lobby and cafe area seem lonely and out of sight, which didn't feel great in Downtown Syracuse.

Loved the pool & fitness rooms!
They mislead me about the complimentary breakfast and I never got Mt room deposit back after our stay! I would NOT recommend them!

the pool was great for the kids, location to our event was great
the property is very dated, the rooms are old and have an order to them. our room smelled like body Oder. you shut the door and the ceiling tiles lift up

Friendly staff, easy parking, Starbucks coffee always a plus
Shower curtain had mold on it
Carpet had a couple of large noticiable stains

Price was expensive for just one night, I charged 1 water and 1 iced tea to the room that were well overpriced

Front desk hospitality. Two lights on each end of the bed.
The light chargers were not compatible with my laptop device.

Hotel area and room was clean. Staff was nice. Great location for restaurants. Would stay here again.
Would have been nice for something small for breakfast to be included in the price. Other reviews I read before booking complained about the street noise. Can you hear it yes but you’re in downtown of a major city of coarse you can hear cars and stuff.

The location met our needs to attend dining in the area as well as the arts and crafts fair in town. Our family prefers to stay at Marriott locations when we travel.
This was the worst stay we have ever had at a Marriott. The front desk staff checked us in and that was the last we saw of them. We called down for extra bedding and had to leave a message. Two and a half hours later we saw the bedding left on the floor outside our door. Nobody even knocked or let us know it was there. The bedside phone did not work at all. Later around 7pm and 8pm my teens went to buy ice cream in lobby twice and couldn't because nobody at the desk to cash out. At 1am there was an argument in the hallway, we called down to ask for assistance for one of the guests who seemed like she was in an unsafe situation and nobody answered. WE CALLED THE POLICE FOR HER. Those guests were escorted out and asked to leave the property separately. The breakfast was sub par at best and we don't expect a fast food counter in a Marriott lobby, so we left without eating and purchased only a coffee.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone — front desk, Starbucks, cleaning staff — all very nice.
Since everyone was so nice to us, I feel bad leaving anything negative, but I am hoping it will help. There is a sense that this hotel is understaffed. It really needs a deep clean, not just the kind the housekeeping staff can provide. There was a lot of dust built up on the furniture and decor, wallpaper needs attention, carpeting needs a good shampooing and the hallways need vacuuming. Marriott should invest some TLC into this place and its employees.
The hotel is located in the heart of a lively restaurant and bar area, so it tends to be loud until the wee hours of the day, which is obviously not the fault of the staff, just a heads-up if you are traveling with babies and those who are light sleepers.
