Enjoyed it and would return!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and meets expectations. The beach is so peaceful and beautiful. I love that the hotel is oceanfront. There's also a balcony, which is really nice. Restaurants are pretty close by.

I really love being so close to the beach but couldn't see the ocean from my room because of the dunes.

So nice to be so close to the beach. Also South Yarmouth is centrally located on the Cape so easy.

Very nice room. Large, clean, great location.

There was a musty smell in the lobby and reception area. This was an initial turnoff.

Exceptional

We enjoyed the heated pool and walking on the beach,bed was very comfortable

Walk to the beach was somewhat hard for me with bad knees but was a short walk down,people upstairs was a bit noisy at night when trying to sleep,very chilly first few days so we had our room temp on heat 70 but management turned air conditioning on said all the rooms were connected guess other people were hot they should look into individual room heating cooling so you can manage your comfort

Beautiful ocean views, pleasant staff and hotel accommodations were perfect for our getaway weekend.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Perfect view of the ocean. Loved the private walkway and beach area. Room was very comfortable. Just what we were looking for. We will definately be back every year.

Grills didn't work. We were excited that their were grills on the property to use. However they didn't work. That was very disappointing. There was very little flame and you weren't able to control the flame with the dials. We were grilling burgers and after 40 minutes they were only half cooked. Fortunately we had a stove to finish cooking them on. Pillows were flat

A lovely stay and hope to be back again!!

The room was very clean and great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we locked ourselves out of our room!! The motel dog Walter/Wally was such a sweet sight.

The WiFi wasn’t the greatest in our room but it worked!

Fall Trip

Beach front property with a full ocean view for every room; this is NOT typical on any other property in the area. All others have limited rooms with a full view and all others with a partial. Each room has a small kitchenette (no oven) that allowed us to make our own breakfasts and have some snacks in the room.

Curb appeal is weak compared to competitors. This should not deter anyone from staying here. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the staff is super friendly. We would choose this again.

Our first night was in a wet bed and wet carpet, apparently a leak in the roof, my husband almost fell when walking from wet carpet to tile floor. We got little sleep on the wet mattress. They told us they would reimburse us for the night, after several calls still none

Hidden gem

Everything! Staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the location, beach, pool and beautiful lawn. Kitchenette fully equipped. Comfortable beds, bright decor. Patio access had a storm door.

Wifi only available next to the reception, at night was hard to connect to.

All rooms have ocean views. Clean heated pool. Beautifully kept grounds. Steps to ocean. Rooms were very clean and private patio was a nice plus. Very good value for the $$.

No private internet in rooms, although it was available in the lobby.

Gorgeous view, perfect location for a weekend getaway.

Our second-floor room with balcony looked directly out on the ocean. The private beach was just a few steps away. The location was beyond perfect. If you opened the door, you could hear the waves hitting the shore. This is not a luxury hotel, and the price reflects that, but the room was spacious and bright, and the staff was very friendly. We loved being able to go to the beach without leaving the hotel, and being able to see the ocean without having to leave our room!

The carpets really need to be replaced and the wifi was very weak in our room.

Very good

The view and access to the Nantucket sound is highly appreciated and I would recommend the stay for that alone. There are bunnies that live in the yard between the beach and the motel, which is adorable. The landscaping is very cute. We loved the kitchenette and got a fair amount of use from it for breakfasts. The pool is well maintained.

Our smoke detector would go off if we walked in the front door wet. We never smoked in the room or had any open flame. The stove is electric and the smoke detector is very close to the stove, so cooking is only possible with very low heat, which isn’t always ideal. The stove is right in front of a window, but there’s no kind of hood or anything. The pool closes at 8. It felt early at the time. I guess I don’t understand because there’s no life guard when it is open, so I’m not sure why it closes. We understand why there is no daily cleaning service during COVID, but we would have liked at least a Dustbuster in the room so that we could do something for ourselves instead. Lastly, I’m not sure what it was, but the kitchen floor felt a little greasy, like it was mopped with dirty water, or maybe it was too soapy? Idk. It was scary slippery until we used a towel to wet down and wipe up the floor. I probably sound like I’m nitpicking, but details matter on a stay like this - our honeymoon. :)
