Price and location relative to my property
-Staff not friendly or accommodating for something as simple as additional shampoo
-unclean linens w stains
-Toilet over-flowed
-Hotel phone not even plugged in

Front desk worker was friendly and great
Carpets very dirty, there was stains on bed. My tv didn’t work and they tried helping but took too long so spent the night with no tv or internet. Also was looking forward to the waterpark and when I got there they said they’re renovating but it didn’t say that on their website. That was upsetting because my kids were upset

Breakfast was not that great. Could have offered more and it was gone too soon could extend the time for it.
Coffee wasn't bad but have been fresher.

Large enough space in lobby area to play some games with a group of friends.
Nothing indicated the swim area was closed. No hand soap in rooms. Room was not very clean. Water constantly ran in tub.

We hadbooked the hotel for the water park at no point were we told the water park was closed till after we paid for are rooms

the lobby area was comfortable and seemed well kept. room was decent, beds ok.
No reply when we tried to switch dates, so we called and they insisted we had to go through booking.com, even though booking’s instructions were to contact property. It took quite a lot of back and forth with the person on the phone.
They didn’t have room type we booked; their excuse was “3rd party sites don’t refresh.”
The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned - visible dirt on the light switch. Thank god we had wipes, but wished we had disinfectant. Tub was dirty and wasn’t draining during quick shower.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

an easy 1/2 way point to 2nd destination on our trip
could have been cleaner. sink was slow to drain. don’t like the one quilt with duvet cover, slides and then don’t have a light cover. think we were first to breakfast, yet eggs and gravy cold.

Staff were friendly.
Smoke alarm went off close to midnight but only on the first floor. Everyone was unsure if there was a fire and we needed to wake the other floors or was just false alarm. Ppl above us had kids that ran around for hours at a time. Very surprised with their stamina. Bathroom faucet continuously ran. Had to put wash rag under it because was very loud. Couldn't enjoy bath with constant cold water running in.

Location and size
Microwave terribly dirty. No soap in old bad looking bathroom.
2.5
The hot breakfast is delightful with plenty of grab and go options.
The window coverings are only sheers. while that is fine for day time privacy at night with the light on in the room is offers zero privacy in the room except for the bathroom. No microwave, pool not open and hot tub not open.

room was comfortable and clean
First impression. Arrived at 9:00 pm only three cars in the park lot. Across the street there is a small plaza with 8 of 10 business open others were vacant,

This Fairfield Inn had three main issues - the air conditioner was extraordinarily loud, the bathroom was dirty, and the breakfast was basically nonexistent. It was fine for what we needed - a place to sleep after a nearby wedding. It's not a place I'd rush back to just because.
As I noted above, the noisy A/C, the dirty bathroom (clearly hadn't been swept or vacuumed, and the shower looked less than clean), and the breakfast.

Good location
Water park has been closed for a year. No pool or hot tub on property was open.
Breakfast what is a very poor selection including badly bruised bananas.
Microwave in room was dirty. Phone in room did work. Rooms look like renovation is needed.
Only ice machine was on the 1st floor

When booking online I was never notified of water park closed. I drove three hours with my kids from Detroit and we were highly disappointed.

the rooms heating/cooling unit was very loud, tub did not drain good while showering, fridge on floor and a stain on sheet

People taking care of breakfast were great. However the sandwiches were terrible. Cereal is cereal and I was glad to see at least chobani yogurt.
Bathroom is going down hill in room. Faucet was very hard to turn off. Drapes were off the rods and tub had mold.

The staff were nice about telling me some places I could go to while on my visit
The room was dusty and dirty no trash bags to even clean up if I wanted to. Also I was disappointed that nobody informed me the waterpark was closed in which was the main reason we came to the water park.

Breakfast was good, my husband had cereal and a banana. I had a sausage biscuit and yogurt. I would’ve liked some lower fat and calorie options like scrambled eggs, pancakes. The customer service for the breakfast buffet was amazing; very friendly, helpful and positive!
The front desk staff in the afternoon on 9/11/2021 had terrible customer service. I had requested an early checkin online but had no response. Two other parties also wanted early checkin. We were told no rooms were available and they had no idea when a room would be available. There was no I’m very sorry, I’ll do my best to get a room ready, absolutely nothing and no empathy. We were offered to use the bathroom to change our clothes, so that’s what we did so we could be on time for the 3:30 wedding. We asked for an iron but we’re told they couldn’t provide one. The housekeeping manager had the same attitude. She said no rooms are ready and was not sure when they’d be available. I can understand there might not be a room available, but the staff need additional training on how to take care of their customers. Why couldn’t they provide an iron/ironing board? The bathtub was stained and mold in the caulk. Also the view from the 3rd floor window of our room faced the roof which had a black and green slimey sludge all over it.

Nothing
Dirty, toilet seat broken, other problems. Room was not clean at 5:30 pm.

The breakfast location was fine. The food selection was fair.
Selection could have been better.

Liked the layout and services offered.
Breakfast did not have all items working. Juice machine for instance was not working. Very limited selections. Room was ok, but sheets felt clammy and there were no drapes to close to keep light out. Room faced east so the morning sun was bright at 6 am and made it diffiicult to sleep.

Location was fine - just off the highway. Not great but good for a road trip. Rooms were clean and people were friendly.
Grab and go breakfast was pretty gross. Was disappointed that the pool was not open.

I wish there was something positive to say about this hotel. Unfortunately our entire stay was a disastee.
For $250+ a night, this hotel is a joke. To start, the Waterpark and pool which is the main draw to this hotel considering it is in the middle of nowhere, wasn’t open and nothing on the website or hotel description made guests aware of that. So you’re paying full amenity prices for no amenities. Secondly, the hotel room was dirty!!! Mold all over the walls and tub in the bathroom. The countertops were cracked and dirty. Mirror hadn’t been wiped down. The carpet was dirty and the sheets had stains. There was a large booger dried on one of the walls, the handles of the bathroom door was busted. The screen for the window was ripped and torn as well.

The pool wasn't open and the breakfast wasn't very good.
