An older motel, but very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

This was an older motel, but was well maintained and VERY clean. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was minimal, but adequate.

The room was a bit warm for me, but my husband was comfortable.

The rooms were very clean. The location was great for our visit to White Sands. The motel was close to plenty of food options. Our family of six fit very comfortably in the room.

Good place to stay to visit White Sands.

Excellent location, clean. Very friendly and helpful. Sleds available to borrow to use at National Park. Coffee and light breakfast in the morning.

coneviently located, safe and comfortable. we booked a suite.

Family owned and extremely friendly. They even let us borrow 4 sand sleds for the day, saving us over $120. We made sure to return them. They also called us about some items we left behind within minutes of leaving. I've never experienced this level of kindness. I would come here again and again!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location for visiting White Sands NP.

Nice stop for visit to the White Sands Park. Staff was very friendly, and the facilities were very clean and neat. While this is an older motel, it is kept up very well, and was a nice nostalgic change from the big national chain hotels.

Great little vintage motel. Very clean. comfortable beds. Nice owners. My second stay, husband’s third.

It was ok, but probably wouldn't stay there again unless updates were made

The location was great. The landscaping was cute. The AC unit worked great.

The shower curtain liner was moldy. The kleenex box cover was dirty/moldy/yucky. There were too many pieces of furniture in the room and it made it crowded.

Old fashioned excellent location, clean and affordable

I liked all! It is a fantastic place at the gate of an amazing sand dunes desert… room was super clean staff friendly and breakfast excellent! Many cars parked on other chain-motel: guys you don’t know what you have lost!

Kitschy vibe.

Lack of decent soap and water pressure. A shower is more than just getting wet. They need decent adjustable shower heads so you can at least rinse your hair. No better than standing in a light rain. Soap was 2 tiny bar soaps, just inadequate.

I’d stay here again.

Charming property that reminded me of motels my family stayed in when I was a child.

Bathroom was very small-but actually expected for this era property. A/C was somewhat difficult to adjust between freezing and too warm.

Great! I would highly recommend and stay again!

Perfect for families, plenty of room for 5 adults in their 2 bedroom room/suite (2 queen beds in 1 room, 1 in the attached bedroom). It was very clean and the owner and staff were exceptional welcoming. Pillows & mattresses were good and comfy. It is close to White Sands and the motel has sleds that you may borrow for free. The breakfast was standard continental with some of the best bagels I've ever had. I would highly recommend, especially for families. The location is good with plenty of restaurants, gas stations, etc. (very close to the White Sands Park). The pistachio farm (with the world's largest pistachio) is a MUST if you are in the area. Lots of samples, pistachio ice cream is out of this world!

The bathroom was clean, in good working order but took me a bit by surprise when I 1st saw it, with a step down and 3/4 wall. Just different but all was good!
