The location
Nothing worked! No ice machine, no pool, no coffee. Our air conditioner was iffy. The family that ran it was very kind.

Location was great. breakfast was coffee or hot water only. AC was great. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful on the TV issue (see below).
TV channels were very limited. On channel that I wanted to watch, I got the picture but no audio. Luckily closed caption worked.

Location
The smell in the room. Smelled like old cigarette smell when it supposedly was a non smoking room. It was raining and the door that I was told to go in because it was closest to my room, had extra waterfall coming down in front of it due to no or gutters not working. carpet was sort of…well it was disgusting to walk on. Very old, outdated rooms. Have the old TV’s that were the big boxes and the picture wasn’t very clear. They had my name and phone number wrong when I checked in. Shampoo, no conditioner.

Nothing
Advertised as having pool and hot tub. It had neither. Both were drained and empty. No coffee pots in rooms and no coffee available in lobby. Rooms were damp and A/C unit couldn't catch up to take moisture out. Too warm out to use heater and too cool out to use air. Ran the fan all night on high but it obviously wasn't working either. It was a total waste of money and would recommend it to no one.Got

No breakfast offered.
No pool or hot tub as advertised
The facilities could have been closer to what was advertised

Room was a good size and clean
The owners lived ONSITE and as a result cooking illegally in their room, I'm pretty sure that's not legal being none of the rooms have cooking abilities, whatever they cooked wasn't a pleasant smell and was very strong, it could be smelled through the whole hotel, may have to call the health department

Front desk woman was great… Was looking for a vending machine for a snack and the worker and her husband offered us couple sodas of their own and a bag of chips since the roads were poor and driving conditions were bad during our stay!
Loved everything!

The lady at the front desk was very sweet and upgraded our room without extra charge.
It was around 30 degrees the night we stayed. When we got to the room, the heat was off, extremely cold in the room. We turned the heater on and it took quite some time to warm up. As we tried to settle in, we discovered mascara and blood stains on pillow cases; they were washed, but quite offputting. The blanket on the bed clearly had been chewed on by mice. After we finally settled in, we were awakened about 1AM by the fact the room was extrememly hot, even though I set it for 70 degrees. I ended up turning the heater off because it wouldn't adjust, it was full high or nothing. The front of the motel looked abandoned, quite honestly... no signage, branches and twigs in the entry area. Front windows were in dire need of a good washing.

Bed was comfotable
No coffee, no housekeeping and the price went up. If you had Kids the pool was dry.

The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable even with my arthritis. The decor was a bit old-fashioned, but it felt nostalgic in a good way to me.
The refrigerator was a little loud, like it might be on its last legs, and it was sometimes hard to sleep around the weird water-like sounds it made. That was pretty much the one thing that bothered me in the room.

There was no breakfast. The posting should reflect that. The pool was empty. They did have coffee and it was decent. It was quiet.
The room smelled musty when we walked in. The old fashioned door key had to be wiggled and gotten into the right position to open the door. The microwave looked to be 30 or 40 years old. At 9:45 am we got a knock on the door to remind/tell us it was time to leave.

no breakfast, place was easy to find
Very old motel with no updated since I stayed there many years ago. Pool was drained, ice machine was broken no handrails in shower, fridge was left dirty. Keys didn't always want to work in doors.

I LOOOOOOVED the fact that the owner came drunk to my room and screamed at me in Spanish and then in English how he was gonna call the cops on us, and then did, ALL because we were trying to keep our son out of something.
My room had cocaine in the corner of the room between the fridge and dresser and the pool was slimy and there was stuff floating in the bottom of it. I stayed 3 nights and WAY overpaid!!!

Great pizza place next door.
Although I had prepaid for the room through Booking.com, the owner re-charged me when I booked in. I told her I had prepaid and she guaranteed that she was not charging me again. When I got home and saw the second charge, she told me I had to go to Booking.com to get it fixed, which took a few days (not a problem, as they were really helpful once I could get through).

It was not up kept well. Tube television? Pool had a film over it( was closed due to Covid) but try a little harder. At least hide it.

There was no breakfast, even though the website said that there was. When we asked where we could get breakfast on Sunday morning the clerk said "Kwik Trip"
There was no breakfast, the pool was closed, the place smelled moldy and the clerk was no help. We only stayed one night of our 2 night reservation.
