I just won’t be staying at the Hyatt Place, Ridgeland anymore for business or leisure due to the previous days until the

I like the location, but with the lack of cleanliness I’ll be selecting another hotel in the area.

This was my 3rd stay this year and there were housekeeping issues. I have had filthy sheets on the bed (I was given sheets & told I had the change them myself), the shower was not completely cleaned, where they were shaving hair on the floor and a dirty, shaving razor in the shower, there was something spilled on the table and sticky when I checked in one time. I feel housekeeping needs to do better.

I would stay again but hope the breakfast improves.

Everything was great except for the breakfast. I would give an excellent rating if it wasn’t for that. All staff members were very friendly and helpful except for one breakfast staff member. The room was very nice and clean. We had a 19 month old and there was a lot of space for her to move around.

🍳 breakfast. You advertise that you have a good breakfast on the website. We were at breakfast at 9. There was no milk for cereal nor orange juice. The server was rude when we asked for milk. She said they didn’t have any. Only bagels, sliced bread, five sausages. No pancakes or waffles,no pastries. The only fruit was green apples. Not everyone eats grits and eggs. . Many, many more people came in while we were there. They asked for milk and juice and were spoken to rudely. People were complaining.

The quietness from the other guest

For breakfast to be 7-10 they ran out of breakfast for all the quest. We went down at 7:10 and everything was gone. Tried again around 8:30 and still no food.

Will try a different hotel when we come back

The location was great, very close to great shopping and restaurants

The pool was not heated, this was the main reason we booked here. I was there for 4 days. 3 nights. Housekeeping never came. Tge trash by tge elevator was not emptied out entire stay, it just kept piling up

Great staff! Last at front was so nice and great breakfast, but outdated room.

Was a great hotel for the price. A little worn and old. Room didn’t get very cold, I like it to be 68 at night and wouldn’t get below 72

Terrible!!

The lobby area was very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

The first night I barely got any sleep because the AC system sounded like it was about to blow up it was so loud… then the sheets were very uncomfortable as I felt like something was biting me… The next morning I reported the issues and was moved… The next unit wasn’t any better as there was an unidentifiable bug on the wall… the bed was biting me there also so I just gave up on sleep… I don’t think I’ll ever stay here again! I want my money back!! I am very upset with this stay!!

Complete disappointment

It was in a pretty good neighborhood with lots of food and entertainment in walking distance.

The room could have been cleaner. The pool was TERRIBLE. Housekeeping came in the room multiple times a day even with the do not disturb sign on the door. And one housekeeper stole money from us.

Reservations don't matter

I arrived around 3pm to check in. Gave my name and reservation #. They said they didn't have record of it. I Showed them the emails (reservations were made several months prior, so nothing like this would happen) and nothing was done about it. I told them I guess I'll leave and try and find another place for my family and I to stay.

Will never stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast was the best part of the stay so give those ladies a raise.

There was no ice machine that worked and they cut one on but it has green algae in the water line. When we arrived it was 90 degrees in our room because the air was completely turned off and the sun was evening straight in and it’s MS in July so that was absolutely ridiculous. There was no microwave in the room and as much as we paid to stay there you should have at least the basics.

Convenient to the event I was in town for.

Hotel is a little care worn. Front portico had obvious missing paint patches when viewed from my room. Grout was chipped in the shower.

Hot, dirty, smelly, outdated, over priced

On an 80 degree day in MS, my room was set to HEAT, 86. I turned on the air & could only get it to 82 so miserable hot night with no sleep. When I left at 6 the next am, the room was still 76. Broken AC. Room dirty, mirror broken, lobby, elevators & room had a mildew smell. I was at least hopeful to get coffee on my way out at 8:30- no coffee left. I paid over $400 for a subpar hotel room in Jackson, MS. Completely disappointing.

Overall the stay it was an okay stay.

The location of the property.

The sheets on the bed was stained badly. Had to request for fresh set of sheets for bed and had to put them on the bed. Upon requesting sheets never was I asked why did I need a fresh set.

Overall my stay was superb!

Breakfast was great, staff was amazing. Not sure if the young guys name but he was very welcoming and helpful!

I wish I had 2 more pillows per bed. I didn’t call to see if I could get more but next time I will or either just being more!

Nice to stay but could have been cleaner and wish for better bathrooms

Room was decent, bed was comfy, window shade was great for blocking out sun, pull out sofa was convenient for kids. Staff was nice. Lobby was very nice. Wish we could have made it to breakfast.

Bathroom was so tiny you couldn’t even shut the door if sitting on the toilet. Trying to help my 3 year old use the toilet was very difficult. Bathroom gave me all over icky vibes. Toilet bowl was stained, shower grout was stained giving it a dirty appearance. Also i absolutely hated the shower setup. You have to stand in the shower to turn it on. Sucks because the water isn’t instantly hot so you get cold water at first. Can’t reach the handle from anywhere besides standing in the shower. Also very inconvenient if you’re trying to turn the water on for a child showering. Got my whole arm wet. Corners of bathroom floor were dirty. Sink was very small for the only sink in the room. Elevator had a smell.

I've stayed in your place five times before I will never stay there again because of the fraud.

How is Bill for three nights I only stayed one. I was charged double the rate that I was quoted. I know the head of Hyatt I will have him call you.
