The staff, location and traditional Hawaiian style
The restaurant was fun but food was not great and too expensive
3.0
Location is excellent
1. Quality of food at the bar is poor
2. Wait time for the ride (by cart) to and from the beach sometimes was excessive (25 minutes once)
3. Cabana with pool towels was closed, had to go up to reception to exchange wet for dry ones.
4. There was no room service during our entire stay (6 nights) - which is ok , we did not really need it, but I wish we were told upfront that there will not be room cleaning service.
5. Pool is too shallow (only 3 feet deep)
6. Price is too expensive for the level of service/quality of facilities
4.5
fantastic view to Napali Coast mountains and ocean. Large and equipped rooms. Silence. Nice pools, easy pathway to a perfect and secluded beach.
it could have a better option of restaurant on site. Cleaning only came once for an entire week.

stunning beautiful location best of Princeville. property needs updating
our smoke alarm went off every night multiple times per night for 3 nights in a row very disturbing terrible restaurant quality pool bar closed walk through garbage alley to get to our room

Beautiful views! Room was gorgeous!
Only 1 pool and 1 spa. Need another spa to accommodate more people.

Views are amazing
All good

I’d like to see the restaurant reopened! That is the only reason I give it a nine instead of a ten. Resort is impeccably maintained. The staff was super nice.
4.5
The location was quite nice and an easy walk down to the beach. For a resort with so many people, it was quiet at night and did not feel crowded.
it would be nice if there was an easy known way to walk down to Hanalei Bay but I am not sure that is doable given the geography.
3.5
great location and decent rooms
staff doesn’t clean the rooms daily but yet ask for a tip in the form of the envelope during checkout. $50.00 checking fee nonsense, no free parking with the resort fees.
3.0
location and sunset views were spectacular. Tennis was biggest positive of our stay.
pool wasn’t heated, pool bar closed as was the not tub. Hotel restaurant was also closed.
4.5
The views are wonderful and its close to the Hanalei beaches and to Hanalei

beautiful setting
lack of restaurant

The location is really amazing. The staff were very attentive. The beach that the hotel has access to was unbelievable.
My room had absolutely no good view which is different from what I expected from the booking. The hot tub was broken down during our stay. Given the price of the resort I don't think the facility measured up to the price.
2.5
The room itself is nice. The location is incredible with lots of open space to wander the beautiful property. Parking wasn’t ever an issue. They will drive you up and down the hill to the beach but you have to wait - a long while.
The location of our room was astoundingly bad. Behind the kitchen of Happy Talk and we went to bed with dishes clanging and loud voices EVERY NIGHT. Spa wasn’t working, only one restaurant was open, pool needs to be resurfaced desperately, never was able to get help from a bell man. The view is stunning but NOTHING to keep you there all day. No pool food/drink service, breakfast or small shop options…

the views
had to pay for parking and parking was limited. The hot tub was constantly packed so we didn’t use it. For the amount of guests there should’ve been at least 2 if not 3 at different locations throughout property. Salt and pepper supplied, no other supplies. Laundry facilities on the grounds, pay for laundry soap.
4.0
comfortable and quiet
no place to eat or have coffee during the day; must have a car
5.0
The grounds were beautiful
the rooms were a bit dated

A decent location on the cliff above Princeville. Beach is a bit of a steep hike but the path is mostly paved.
Our room was filthy - there was pubic hair in both bathrooms and coffee grounds all over the side tables, and our ground location had people constantly walking right past our bedroom and easily able to see inside. Reception was not very helpful - when we called to ask about changing rooms they instantly said there was nothing they could do. We ended up luckily checking out early and going to the nearby Westin which was head and shoulders better.

beautiful location
not enough food amenities on the property- only one small restaurant open from 3pm on, which was excellent service and good food, but expect a 60-90 min wait if you get there past 5:30. they say they will open up the other two eventually.
2.5
great location and view.
we had a family member get sick (we think) caused my a dirty water filter in kitchen. maybe better upkeep or maintenance to rooms.
pools are not heated, this was a bit challenging to a 4 year old...and us old people. LOL
this is strange, but the restaurant (happy talk lounge) is not affiliated with hotel. no room charge so bring your wallet!
3.5
Nice grounds and the Happy Talk restaurant was nice. Rooms are large. Access to the beach is not too far and you can call for a shuttle to get back up the hill to the resort.
The fitness facility is way too small. Needs to be improved and the size increased with more weights and exercise equipment. There was no food or drink service at the pool.

rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The views of the mountains and ocean were beautiful.
That we had to pay for laundry and extra coffee. we stayed three nights and were provided two servings of coffee.
4.0
beautiful grounds and views
very limited food options, no breakfast or lunch, bar not open at pool
4.0
The area is very beautiful. our room had a full kitchen and the pool was wonderful.
the rooms are pretty dated and area parking is a hassle. there aren’t many restaurants around this area
