I was traveling with my father, who has a lot of self-imposed needs. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. My dad would say how much he liked and appreciated the ladies who cooked and took care of the house during our stay.
In the mornings before breakfast, the owner would come over from the main house to the cottage where we stayed. He'd sit on the porch and talk with us for a little while until breakfast was ready.
It was a little less than a mile from downtown. Enough that it made sense to drive most days; though I did do the walk one evening. I'd suggest staying here if you have transportation of some kind, whether car or bike, if you intend to explore the area.

We loved our stay at the Deveraux. Ron was the prefect host and unbelievably helpful. The place is beautifully decorated and very plush, situated in a very quiet road. We also loved Natchez. Thanks Ron.
If we were picky we'd probably say the bathroom was average in comparison with the rest of the house.

The breakfast very good. It wasn't your usual bacon and eggs.

Great B&B with an owner who is incredibly knowledgeable on the local area and the history. The breakfast staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of parking in a good location.
Check in was a bit of a hassle but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Breakfast was very good, though you were not provided with a menu, the staff just came and served each course.
It is in a great location so you can walk to the main street/restaurants and the river. Owners are very friendly and gave great tips on where to eat. The facilities were very good. The room was very comfortable. It was nice to stay in a house for a change and not a hotel.
The staff stood outside our room at 07.00 in the morning, talking very loudly for an hour. I spoke to the owner he said he would speak to them but the next morning they did they same thing again. Not sure why they were even sat there, they could have gone into the dining room.

Breakfasts were yummy and satisfying without being too heavy.

Staff, room, breakfast, everything was perfect.
The only improvement would be more outside area for the dog to play, but it was great. More space is not possible at that location.

The dining room service we're not very hospitable. They were not unkind they just never smiled or or engaged. Something they might work on?

Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Mr. Ron, the owner, was present and involved. He made wonderful suggestions for our stay and even called to make an appointment for us which was really great. Breakfast was delicious everyday. The nice lady that cleaned our room for us did a visibly great job as well.
No complaints.

We stayed in Aunt Clara's cottage and had a room (Elmo's room) with heated bathroom floors and a superb king size bed. Very comfortable!
One night our room was a little too warm. We adjusted the thermostat and were comfortable the next night.

Wall of the bathtub was too high, but that’s personal preference.

EVERYTHING! Angela (as well as Violette and Robin) were full of energy, friendliness, kindness, fun! Angela was amazing at checking us in and letting us know about the details of the house and our room. Ron and Eleanor were also so friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Location was fabulous. Breakfast was AMAZING. The bed was super comfortable with amazingly soft sheets and great towels. Easy parking.
