The inn was quaint and relaxing. I loved that there was fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies, snacks, and soft drinks available ( and included in the price). Gina and Cassie were wonderful. Thanks for a great stay.
My suite could have been cleaner. The bedroom smelled very perfumey. I found an air freshener and put it on the deck. The suite was really nice, but needed a deep clean.

Before this trip I had never visited Vermont, and when I pictured what a Vermont Inn was like, this encompassed it. It was quiet, it has history, and extremely picturesque. Staff was warm and laid back. Loved they are dog friendly. They were accommodating with food allergies, so breakfast was made to order and amazing. I loved looking outside with snow gently falling. It felt like a different period in time. Lastly, the hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing.

Great breakfast with freshly made pancakes, fruits and yoghurt. Interesting merchandise available in the lobby (we were even given a Phineas mug!). Cozy living room. Comfortable bed.
The room is quite compact for two people. The floor is heavily tilted but it’s probably normal for an old wooden house.

The Inn and grounds were beautiful and Lynne and Darren were wonderful hosts. The Inn is in a perfect location so it isn’t too terribly far from Stowe and Jay with other towns not that much farther.
There wasn’t anything I would say I didn’t like. I was a little unsteady on the stairs in the main house but that is easily remedied by staying in the carriage house suites.

Loved the property and its surroundings. Amazing staff - super friendly and always helpful. Having the most delicious breakfast in the mornings with the sounds of the birds chirping outside was the highlight.

It was quiet and homey

It was a cozy little place in a great location. Plenty to do within walking distance. The staff was super friendly, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. They even had complimentary drinks and snacks out 24/7!
The only possible complaint I might have, and this is a trifle, is the single-ply toilet paper - and even that’s likely a necessity if their septic system. It wouldn’t cause me the slightest hesitation about staying here again, though.

this place had everything. A rushing river. A hot tub. An amazing breakfast. A lovely living room. A gorgeous garden. A comfy couch on the porch. A great restaurant right next-door. snacks, coffee and tea all the time.
Nothing.

We stayed in the Green Room in the main house, a lovely historic mansion, incredible service, snacks, and many thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was so comfortable, I had trouble getting my fiance out of it! Breakfasts were wonderful, we had stuffed blackberry french toast with Canadian bacon the first morning, strawberry waffles with bacon the second, as well as yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, and other options. This is a place where you actually feel comfortable and at home. We loved the hot tub, and were thrilled that there were no time restrictions to use it, which is rare, and very appreciated. The guest guide in the room was incredibly detailed, and very helpful, as well as informative about the inn and the town.
The gratuity automatically added into the bill added quite a bit to the cost of the total stay, but with current staffing issues, I guess that's to be expected. The stairs to the second floor of the main house were quite steep, and could be tricky for older folks. I'd recommend maybe adding some carpet or anti-slip strips to the tops of the steps for safety.

The delicious blueberry pancakes with bacon for breakfast.
Not spending more time there.

100 percent the best BnB experience I have ever had

Beautiful place, only 15 min from the ski site. The staff was kind and very friendly. The food was great, and the hot tubs were a wonderful addition to our experience. Highly recommended.

We were the only guests and the hosts as friendly as can be. Everything was tip top clean. Breakfast was good and abundant.
It's a matter of taste I guess but the size and height of the bed kind of overwhelmed the room it was placed in. Also the overall house is loaded with collectibles. Most if not all are nice pieces, they are definitely not junk, some are funny but the house would present better if there were fewer of them. The owners are proud collectors, maybe put the pieces on a rotation schedule :-)

the asthetic was warm and charming, loved the hot breakfast and atmosphere. The added in $120 gratuity charge was unexpected so the cost was hire than we thought. Other than that it was a lovely place to spend the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
