A couple office members were unfriendly. Ckd out very early morning.Called to confirm night before office would be open 4:30am. Lights on ,door locked, no one answered.

La gentillesse du personnel, très à l’écoute (prêt d’un sèche-cheveux et d’un chauffage d’appoint). La propreté de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner copieux et renouvelle. La situation géographique proche de certains lieux de visite.
Néant

Once we checked in, we noticed a wall mount air conditioner, assuming it will be working. Late night when we returned back to room, we noticed the AC cable was not plugged in, and there is no outlet in vicinity to plug it! The phone in room was not working. I was super tired that couldn't walk to front desk, assumed it shouldn't be that bad early March in LA to sleep without heating. I was wrong and we were freezing early morning. To management: check your facility before putting it out for booking! You would have received a very good review.

The location was great only a 15 min to 30 min drive to Universal studios.
The pool was closed for a few days and we never got to use it.

It was convenient, clean and comfortable
We were next to an overflowing trash can but not a big deal

Very friendly, and personable staff. Great decor. Spotless. Big comfy bed, with comfy linens. Cold air conditioning. Great water pressure. Big tv. Black-out curtains. Place was sold out, but I didn't hear any noise from any of the adjoining rooms. Might have heard somebody smoking a joint & coughing hysterically, outside- once.. But very quiet otherwise. Great location...
I think everything is way overpriced these days... but compared to other lodging in the area- this place had good value, for their rate.
We only stayed one night, but very much enjoyed our stay.
Recommend!

Pool, staff, breakfast
Room furniture needs updating to match the feel of reception etc. and outside areas need a refresh.

Very comfortable with separate kitchenette for our extended stay visiting our son. A few blocks from the Galleria with restaurants and movie theaters. More restaurants walking distance as well. We needed to extend our stay and the staff was very helpful. Looks like what was called a motor lodge in the 1960’s. With swimming pool. Remodeled, clean, modern interiors.
All just fine really. The breakfast selections were minimal but worked for us.

I liked David at the front desk who was super sweet. The bed was very comfortable and location was proximal to places we were visiting.
the door to our room was a solid 1.5 inches from reaching the ground, which allows small rodents and bugs to crawl in if they wanted. we blocked the floor of the door with towels, which were already limited. husband asked the front desk to switch rooms for one with a door that met the floor, and they said they would clean one and switch us. we never heard back. No shelves in the bathroom made it hard to get ready, we had to pile everything on top of the toilet.

most of the staff , location
I was charged for a service animal ( which is against the law in California)

Nothing out of the ordinary, but for me, a solid, clean, good place to stay.
A bit pricey, but I think that's more just for the location.

Everything was clean and well kept.
The heater/air conditioning unit was loud, and the room could get cold. But it really was not a problem as the bed was extremely comfortable and the down blanket was more than sufficient.

No tea/coffee machine. No Iron or Ironing board.

Love the breakfast!!!

It’s excellent value for money. We felt safe and comfortable and the staff were lovely.

The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient.
There was way too much single-use plastic wrapping around the breakfast food. Each slice of bread was individually plastic-wrapped. There are some great breakfast options just down the road though.
4.5
Central location , very close to Universal Studios and Hollywood.
Commuting is easy with host of options - Uber, Bus and subway .
Lot of eating options...various cuisines
Good parking
Nothing really ...nice breakfast spread ..would have liked eggs/omelettes
Rooms are cleaned on alternate days ..perhaps for customers staying for more than a week - it could be done daily

The hotel is around lots of restaurants and shops. The beds were comfortable though the pillows need to be changed out or washed as they smelled bad from previous guests. The tv's are big and the pool looked great though too cold outside to use.
We arrived at midnight to a room that had no heat and was an icebox when we walked in. The temp outside was 40 degrees and the heater in the room did not work. We asked for more blankets in which I asked when will the heat kick in which the gentleman said it should start soon. It never happened and at 2 am we had to switch rooms because I could literally see my breath.
The front desk gentleman was super helpful and friendly which I appreciated. It was his 2nd day on the job and I applaud him for handling the situation with the heat so well and adjusting rooms. The bathrooms were just repainted in the remodel but all the paint was peeling off because its obvious they didn't fix the problem of the water leaking behind the walls. They turned a previous Motel 6 type into a budget friendly modern style motel but need to fix the old problems not just cover them. The front doors all need to be changed since they are not sealed and let in everything on all sides. Overall it fit our needs but management needs to address the issues that will turn this nice hotel into a poor looking hotel by spring time.

Lovely staff.
Breakfast was good.
Nice modern revamp.
Bit noisy. Pool wasn't heated. Gap under door let in noise/draught.
