no complaints, everything worked well

Beautiful bed and breakfast and exquisite food. Very romantic and serene
The only thing that would have made this stay better, would have been a view out the window, but this bed and breakfast is in a suburban neighborhood so it's really not an option.

Beautiful home with a neat history. Very clean and well kept. Perfect location near the Main St.

very charming
bed linens. also, we found a fake nail from a prior customer in one of the blankets
the breakfast is served in a beautiful setting but the food is very poor

Friendly Staff, helpful and welcoming, and not intrusive. The rooms were delightful, clean, linens wonderful, every expectation passed our imaginations.
Windows have no screens, but that is to be expected in old properties. Didn't know the room was on the third floor, but we made it! Would have liked to know ahead what floor the rooms were on.

The house itself and the location so beautiful.

We stayed in the empire room which is up two sets of beautiful wooden staircases, one of which has a door. There are two sets of entry doors to this room. Pillars at the foot of your bed, two gas fireplaces that turn on and off with the flip of a switch, a shower and a clawfoot tub. There is a dining table in front of one window, a small table and chairs like for tea or coffee in front of another window and a cushioned bench perfect for reading a book in front of a third window. A beautiful wardrobe with robes and slippers. The empire room sits in the front half of the top story. So there's all kinds of alcoves, you get all the beautiful pitches of the roof. Because you have a dining table they will bring your breakfast to your room. There is a view out every window. Beautiful molding, drapery, wallpaper, marble and wood floors.
I wish there was a bottle of bubble bath to use in the clawfoot tub. And it was a little Dusty like on the mirror where they keep the drinking glasses inside your room. But I'm a house cleaner so I probably notice more than most people.

It was a wonderful stay! This a fun stay. Location is excellent.
A couple of negatives. The beds are very high. You need a ladder to climb up on your bed. Rather a complication for the elderly. Also, the breakfast was mediocre.

Wonderful, large room, even though it was one of the cheaper, smaller units. Everything was spotless and in good working condition. There were no “squeaks or creaks” on the staircase or floors, even though this is an old house. The public rooms for afternoon tea/wine were luxurious and the staff was wonderful making sure the wine didn’t run out. The facility is quiet yet located only 1 block from the main street.
Breakfast was less impressive than we had hoped for. It was good but small.

Very friendly staff and happily accommodated all our needs including a vegan diet. Persephone was very enjoyable to speak with and she made us feel relaxed and welcome.

the cutest, quaintest, and most welcoming inn I’ve ever stayed in. from the afternoon tea (cheese, wine, olives etc) to breakfast (bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit) to the room (two baths!) to the picturesque town.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect! It was close to downtown for walking, but far enough away that it was quiet. The attention to detail made it charming and welcoming.
