Nothing to not like

Clean and comfortable beds, and a friendly staff. The rooms seemed to keep most of the neighboring room's noise out, better than most. Also a very touching tribute to the troops in the lower level.

It was a very nice overnight trip and the staff at the front desk was fantastic!

We came here from a hotel that was awful. We were amazed at how much better Country Inn was. We described it as clean, great service, easy check in/out, good breakfast selection, & safe/nice location (close to downtown GR & 40 mins from Grand Haven).

Not many restaurant options close by until you’re downtown Grand Rapids.

We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed our time in the pool at the hotel!

Great breakfast included, our family loved making waffles. Convenient location, great value. The pool was great, our kids loved it.

My only real downfall was smelling urine upon entering our room and any time we were gone all day.

Great value hotel for short drive to downtown Grand Rapids and visiting Frederik Meijer Gardens.

Really convenient location. Not far from downtown Grand Rapids, and super close to Frederik Meijer Sculpture Park. You could even walk it if you wanted to. Having a pub/restaurant almost in the parking lot is a nice convenience but we didn't actually end up eating there, but heard it was good. The breakfast area has plenty of seating and lots of choice (not for vegans but for vegetarians like us it was totally fine). Room was quiet. Bathroom layout excellent for an extended stay. Staff were great. Late hours for the pool also great.

No dislikes I can think of.

Comfortable stay but we should have been given the room we paid for

Great customer service from front desk, comfort snd cleanliness of the room

We did not have two queen beds as booked. We had a queen and a double bed. We should have been booked with two queens as paid for. I didnt realize it until day if checkout. My kids slept in that bed.

Amazing location and amenities!

We always love this location! Easy to get on and off the freeway to get downtown, close to East Grand Rapids shopping districts and safe area near Calvin and Cornerstone Colleges. The pool is open 6AM till midnight, which the kids love, avoiding the "is the pool open yet?" question always being no! There is a little arcade as well that we haven't been able to use yet. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, breakfast is served hot!

Could use a bigger parking lot or access to the bank lot on weekends only if they could work out a deal.

Breakfast was awesome. Location was good. Hotel was very clean. Room was perfect. Pool and exercise room were very nice and clean.

My only suggestion is to paint or tile the retaining wall outside the pool area to make it more bright and inviting.

we would definitely choose this hotel again when we visit grand rapids next

Definitely was a great experience as a family with a 5 year old and 1 year old. the pool and hot tub was great every time we went, breakfast was great, coffee/tea available all day was nice since i randomly was craving some at about 9:00pm. employees were all so nice as well. we are quite picky hotel-stayers and we were very pleased with this hotel (:

Great, clean & cozy atmosphere, would definitely recommend!

The location was great as well as the game room. Not many hotels have game rooms and my 61 year old husband loved it as much as the big kids. The hotel room & common areas was also very clean & fresh but without the over powering smell of cleaners which I appreciated.

Lobby coffee was not good quality & was often just Luke warm. Breakfast definitely needs gluten free options such as muffins, bagels, donuts etc.

Exceeded expectations

We liked everything about our stay. The front desk staff were so nice. They upgraded our room for my boyfriends birthday. It was way nicer than I expected. The breakfast was above and beyond any free breakfast I have ever seen. We will definately stay again!

Buen hotel .limpio .cerca de todo.buen desayuno,puedes coger cafe y cookis gratis cuando quieras.cuando bajas a la piscina al salir del ascensor hay unas vitrinas con trages militares antiguos ( es curioso de ver) la piscina excelente climatizada el jacuzzi tiene mucha potencia (el agua esta muy caliente) buen gimnasio .hay unas maquinas recreativas y lavadora y secadora .2$ lavadora 2$ secadora jabon aparte 1$

La recepcionista de la noche creo recordar que se llamaba shairi o similar .no hablo ingles .en todos los hoteles y estados que estuve siempre me ayudaron en todo al no saber ingles .necesitaba saber una cosa .le puse el traductor para entendernos y con los braços cruzados me hacia que no entendia .no se esforço en ningun momento en atenderme . Estuve 3 dias alojado

Worth the price for the area, but small changes could make it exceed expectations.

Was priced right. Friendly staff.

Kinda knit-picking, but small maintenince items jump out at me (because I worked a couple years in the industry.) Stuff like loose fastners/hangers and marks on the walls the could be easily fixed but do not always get reported by housekeeping and few hotels have management staff do walk through inspections anymore.

Loved everything about it.

The welcoming was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and super clean. My kids loved the pool extended hours and i loved the hot tub. The breakfast was really good and offered a nice variety. I also noticed the rooms are well sound proofed as we didnt hear any neighbors and it was packed.

Close to the Fredrick Meijer Sculpture Garden. Fruit for breakfast was fresh and ripe. Clean, modern

No black tea such as Lipton or English Breakfast, just Earl Gray. Also no plain old scrambled eggs with the other plentiful breakfast offerings.
