Couldn't sleep all night

Good location, close to the centre, nice hotel

We were in the room with the balcony at the front, and we could not sleep all night because it was noisy outside, rooms needed soundproof , especially at the front .

Had better hotels during our stay

Great location and big bed. Clean hotel and a free water dispenser.

Although the hotel was almost empty they put us in a room with windows only to the hallway, and situated at the staircase. If we didn't close the curtains we had no privacy. The hotel was super noisy, keeping us awake until midnight and waking us up again at 5. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing: the breakfast area is a basement with barely any windows and all tasted a bit bland.... I know this is not an expensive hotel by international standards, but I think that there are better options for that price in Villa.

Pleasent, and in short distance to everything. Excellent bed.

We really liked the room, it had a good size. The view was so lovely! It had a very comfortable bed and the room also had a fireplace that we could use if we wanted to. The staff was serviceminded and very helpful.

The jacuzzi took far to long to fill with water, and we did not get any bubblebath for it. The warm water took very long to work. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown. A dry bun, some fruit and a well made scrambled egg, but no other options. With all the good eating opportunities in the same street as the hotel, it would be a better option to have breakfast in one of those places.

Staff is really kind. The room and bathroom are really clean, with all amenities. It is really close to the main square

The house is beautiful, the rooms are really nice and clean.

It’s a bit noisy because of the location in town but other than that is a great place to stay.

Exceptional

This hotel was as perfect as can be. Firstly, the staff were all the sweetest people you could meet, making sure everything was taken care of. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything you needed. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with coffee/hot chocolate/tea, fruits, eggs, bread and cheese. Fontana is definitely the best place to stay in Villa de Leyva
