Lovely summer weekend trip!

The bed was super comfortable and the staff we polite and helpful. It is right across from OSU and a 25 minute walk to downtown Ashland. We had a wonderful experience. They do charge a $100 refundable credit to make sure they have any potential property damage covered.

So it usually says booked out online for this motel, when you arrive there is absolutely no one there, the carpark doesnt even look used. Clearly washing money through this place. Rooms smelt of adhesive chemicals from a renovation that was subpar. Informed the owners/caretakers and they didnt seem to mind the smell. So instead of staying in a motel that isnt serviced, cleaned or reputeable. Head just 100m down the road to Palm cottages. For basically the same price and no ridiculous fees and deposits you wont regret it. Still havent got that refund either.

Clean and comfortable stay. Room are themed with picture of Shakespeare.

Location was great. Right an across from an university, and also right next to best place for breakfast MorningGlory, for dinner we went to restaurant that was walkable from the hotel.

Pleasant

it is centrally located. Local taxi company knew it by name. Right next to a brunch restaurant that was constantly busy. Also completely surrounded by the neighbor, so good for walking. The bathroom is very nice and recently remodeled.

Office staff is only available from 9 to 9. Fortunately you are told this at check-in. I feel it was overpriced. It was basically a motel 6 with a really nice bathroom for 3 times the price. Tiny window with no view. Mismatched furniture and a wire shelving unit for storage.

Nothing they don't take debit,they don't take cash. It is some kinda front for something illegal. On a busy night they have no one Really they have no people but they turn them away.. Get them off your site. The Palms down the street was excellent.

Beware you get slapped with more fees when you arrive

Very basic place shower was really nice we almost had the back space to ourselves

They make you pay Extra!! Without writing it in their aggreement. I was disappointed to know i had to pay so much for such a basic spot! Bed was super uncomfortable.

Clean,comfortable bed,location perfect. Very polite and helpful staff.very reasonably priced.

Very clean, nice shower, bed comfortable. Staff very courteous and helpful. Let us know it is still being renovated so not everything updated yet.

Couch had definitely seen better days. Chairs for table worn, bedding polyester. Staff let me know upon check in still working on upgrades. Television direction and channel list needs to be added.

Basic but brighter inside than it appears.

We liked the refurbed interior and large walk-in shower. The fact that the motel was so quiet gave lots of privacy which was a bonus.

From the outside, the motel looks run down and dilapidated and we were almost the only guests. The room was freezing on arrival and took a while to warm up. It was a strange setup with an adjacent dining/kitchen room area which had no heating of its own. Nor did the bathroom. The two queens faced each other which was strange.

Passable

Parking was nice as it was right outside the room. There was places to grab a bite to eat nearby which is convenient when traveling with kids.

The issues with it was that the heater didn’t work, the water never really got hot (lukewarm if that), and there wasn’t a closet to put our clothes in.

You get what you pay for.

Not much. The manager was kind and fixed our remote for the TV with no complaints.

I had to go next door for breakfast. The room was bleak and austere. No hangers or place to hang clothing, just a metal rack to lay things on. Your truly get what you pay for. We will never stay there again..

Good value, great location.

Location was great. Right on Syskiyu Blvd, central to my destinations. Large parking lot, well lit. It felt secure. Nice pool. Good quality linens and towels. Shower and general bathroom fixtures good.

While the room was clean, there was a slight damp smell. It was the first heavy rain of the year though. My windows steamed up quickly.

Very good

Easy to find, modest but pretty, nice views of the mountains and the swimming pool. Hand sanitizer in the office, and the staff seemed good about wearing masks.

There was a heat wave during my stay, and their one ice machine was broken. If we wanted ice, we had to go out and buy it. The TV cable plan apparently does not offer a “guide” option. It’s a small thing, but worth mentioning.

Clean good location

Old needs painting steep decrepit stairs , noisy floors, trashy surroundings. Shower dingy.
