Right on the beach with a nice pool.
The restaurant is closed on Tuesday.
4.2
The beach and the ocean front suites
If we closed the bathroom door all the way, couldn’t open from inside.

I love the atmosphere of the resort. It was laid back and our ocean view was worth paying for. Waking up in the morning, hearing the waves, and seeing the sunrise was so relaxing. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed them.
The fan in the room was only working at one speed. I love having the fan on high, but putting the AC on a lower temperature worked out fine.
4.2
Closeness to beach and restaurant.
Not able to make an early check in because made my reservation thru booking.com.
Guest doesn’t understand rules of alcohol near beach or pool. Need bilingual signs to explain not locals what and not to do premises.

The location was great if you're looking for a quiet getaway, which we were. The amenities were great.
The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it worked.

Not overly populated. Good location. Amenities were nice.
Some items were run down or not taken care of properly. Had a horrible time with the internet.

Beach and location were perfect and the happy staff Convenient tiki bar next door. except the girl who places you AT THE TABLE who is very rude, BUT THE BARTERNDER GILR WAS VERY NICE AND SWEET
Room dusty, the floor have a lot the old dusty My feet are sticky and sandy(I was 3 level) Mold on the Sink Coffeemaker broken Chair broken, shower valve broken Not breakfast and anydiscount for second time guess.
4.2
The staff was nice
The fact that we had to ask for service if we wanted our room cleaned and we had to take our towels to the office and exchange them for clean ones. The room needs more hooks to hang the towels for them to dry or a clothes line in the shower. The room had a musty smell. Probably from wet towels. Too much seaweed along the manmade beach and it stunk

Great for families
The bedroom floors were very dirty

Watching the sunrise from the balcony seats was divine. The swimming pool was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was great. The private access to the beach was delightful.
I wished housekeeping would go around and empty all the ash trays. some were overflowing and gross.

Great pool, laundry on premises, great private beach, rooms are great, staff was amazing, location was terrific.
Hopefully they get the elevator fixed but they do offer to help bring your bags up. Wasn’t a big deal to us but to others I could see it being an issue.
4.2
staff, pool, hot tub, bar next door
elevator was out, front doors not working

The beautiful views. The beachside location. The bar/restaurant
The first room we were allocated. The TV, coffee maker, and soap dispenser were all faulty. The shower had minimal pressure. We were moved to a different room where everything functioned beautifully, thanks to the lovely staff. Had we been in this room from the start we would have rated 9/10

Everything you need for relaxing vacation. Beautiful sunrise from our balcony, amazing beach is just steps away, nice swimming pool and the hot tub! Friendly staff, and very comfy beach loungers. beach towels are provided and kitchen was well equipped. Recommend!
nothing, it was perfect!

I never found a breakfast area so if they had breakfast it was hidden from view. The location was nice and close to the beach.
At first I noticed the musty smell in the room and walking on the room on the tile floor it felt slimy and slippery. Looking closer at the floor you could tell that it was dirty and hadn't been properly cleaned in who knows how long.. every pair of socks I worn in the room I had to throw away because just walking from the bed to the bathroom they would be black on the bottom. The hot water at times was non existent

Location and amenities were great and the staff, very helpful.
The prices could be a little cheaper but great place!

Location
The reception staff could do with some training on how to greet guests professionally. Other than how to get to the elevator, information was nil! I have mobility issues but staff watched as my wife and I struggle through a small side door, (the main automatic door was broken, as indeed it remained so for the week), with our luggage. "Would you like some help?", would have been appropriate. The room was acceptable, although small, with a very comfortable bed. Our room was not cleaned, (other than by us), for the duration of our stay. My wife was "instructed", to bring dirty towels to reception and collect clean one's. The same applied to tea and coffee. When being charged £575 per night, yes that's right FIVE HUNDRED AND 75 POUNDS PER NIGHT, surely service should have been better? I got the feeling they were doing us a favour in letting us stay! The hotel itself is no more than a re-vamped 50's style cheap motel. Not only would I never dream of staying here again, it's put us off visiting the Keys again. Goodbye and good riddance Staleg 17 Glunz.

The views are as close to the ocean as you can get. It was really nice sitting out watching the sunrise enjoying our coffee. Facilities include use of kayaks and bikes which we did use.
The lobby seems a bit old fashioned but if they painted the wood and trim white it would make a huge difference. elevator a bit ho hum.

Loved being steps from the ocean and location, this made up for most issues. The issues we had were not deal breakers and I would go back BUT would research other resorts in the area first.
Had no pool towels in our villa and more bath towels would have been nice. The kitchen was honestly disgusting and when walking in for the first time, (it’s one of the first things you see) it made me second guess staying there and left a bad first impression. Bathrooms were not the cleanest either and all 3 of our bathrooms ran out of toilet paper (could be stocked better, so the guest isn’t chasing things down). Besides cleanliness, our biggest complaint is pool/spa hours, which the two villas beside us also said was a huge disappointment for them as well. It closes at 9, except Friday & Saturday are 10. All of us felt both were too early. It’s warm during the day or you go sight seeing, by time you eat dinner and actually go to the hot tub it’s all closing. When visiting with the other villas, we all agreed we should be able to be trusted in the pool area until 11 and at minimum 10 each night. Overall, there were many positives but the few negatives were disappointing considering the prices to stay there, I at least expect it to be clean when your spending $600-$700 a night.

The staff could not have done more. they were busy fixing everything after the hurricane but went out of their way to make our stay fantastic
not much really. I guess not offering breakfast.
