check in was smooth parking easy

The staff were not very welcoming in fact at check out thee was no conversation just handed my receipt .

Rooms were clean. Hot breakfast.

Dark and dated. Thin blankets. Pool was so overdone with chlorine one couldn’t even stand to be in the room without making your eyes water. Unusable. Way overpriced for the type of room. We had a balcony room and you could see light coming in from the bottom of the door.

Close to where we wanted to go and it was very nice.

Only one elevator.

Nice friendly staff, clean, great location.

The location was great and the room a great size for a family of four. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

The air conditioning didn’t work as well as we would have hoped. The temperature was set at 61 and the room was still uncomfortably warm.

Pet fee was too much. Stomping guest or running kids in the room above us.

parking lot was tight quarters, and pillows were no good

We waited at the front desk after a long drive for several minutes without anyone at the desk and the bar staff just several feet from the front desk didn't even acknowledge us. When the front desk clerk did emerge from the back area, she was carrying her purse, talking on the phone and appeared to be giving pricing options to someone for several minutes, which I thought was rude as hell considering we were there waiting for her already and in person and already paying customers. But I guess that was the point...we had already paid so there was no need for satisfactory customer service at that point. Then, my husband went down a short time later when we discovered my young son had taken his toothbrush out of his travel bag, and she acted bothered when we asked about whether the hotel had any travel toothbrushes. It was very disappointing. If we are unfortunate enough to return to Dodge City, we will not be choosing your hotel...customer service is everything, and I would pay twice the rate to avoid poor quality encounters with staff.
