Breakfast buffet was excellent-as a vegan often there is little available. But I was able to have coffee, juice, toast, fresh fruit, and oatmeal with nuts and raisins.
The price of parking.

It was ok
Room was only fully made up by housekeeping once in a 7 day stay. This after requesting. I got the impression it wouldn’t have happened otherwise. I complained to Hyatt but received no reply. I will avoid brand in future

Friendly service
It was all good
4.1
The room was big, comfortable and (quite rare for hotels nowadays) very well illuminated. Beds very comfortable as well. General state: new and modern
They have a very strange cleaning policy by which they clean the rooms once every 3 days unless the guests requires explicitly otherwise! they call it "covid-19 measures". Seriously now? I call it saving on cleaning staff. Apart from the fact that this policy was not properly communicated, it is incredible that a hotel still claims to apply covid measures! It's a lame pretext. And if they take covid so seriously, then why doesn't the staff wear masks? Additionally, even when we asked for cleaning service we never got it! at the end of our three-day stay our room was never cleaned andwee never got any replenishment of amenities...

Breakfast was decent, staff was friendly.
However, staff did not provide requested room service and only minimally fixed the problem. They stated in their welcome letter that they provide housekeeping every three days of our stay. Housekeeping came a day later than expected on our second round of housekeeping. Twice, housekeeping knocked on our door to see if they can change bathroom towels. On their second knock, we asked them to change our bed's linen and they said no problem but they would wait until we left on our outing that morning. Note that the linen was on the floor of the hotel so they know to change it. We come back from our outing in the evening to find out that housekeeping only made the bed with the same linen that was on the floor of the hotel. We know this because the same markings from the linen previously were still there. Went downstairs to let management know and were only given blankets to fix the problem since housekeeping was done for the day.

The breakfast was a bonus, and everything was laid out nice and neat for easy access with the customers. I liked that there was a pool and workout room. I loved the fact that there are some great attractions and restaurants around that can catch the eye of some tourists.
The pool was very small, and for that reason you had to schedule a time slot to be able to reserve your spot for the designated time for swimming. The parking situation was decent but a little overpriced to my opinion.

It was clean and it was surrounded by a lot of entertaining activities
I didn’t like how small the elevator are. Very tiny. To me only two people but no more than 3 people should be on there. Also the doors slams shut and my party was not paying attention to that. So another customer complained and when the hotel staff came to address us she was not polite and very aggressive . She talked to us like that was her third time warning us or like we gave her attitude.
4.1
location, convenience, staff
I was on a low floor which I didn't love. The breakfast could be improved.
4.1
Warm reception and we could easily walk to several restaurants and UChicago.
No microwave in room.

lack of response from staff. did not clean nor fix beds on the second day. asked for towels and received a plastic bag with 5 towels inside.

clean, good atmosphere
as a vegetarian breakfast was relatively limited (no vegetables at all).

First, the best part-your staff. The ones I can name-Chuck, Racquel, Cornell and everyone else who made me feel so cared for. I travelled partially on my own and for part of the time with family. When I was on my own, the hotel staff were so kind and so very helpful. They are a great bunch of people and Hyatt should be so glad that they are on their team. They did themselves proud.
First the towels were not even up to a cheap motel standard. The smaller ones weren't bad, but the largest ones-threadbare.
A hotel of this caliber should have large bath towels. The pillows were like bricks-and felt as if they were filled with straw.
And the bedding-while crisp cotton-had a coverlet instead of a duvet, comforter or blanket.
The temperature outside was winter-like, and the bed was made with summer in mind. I almost froze-and I'm Canadian!

Staff was exceptionally helpful

We had a great experience at the Hyatt. We were so many restaurants and so many things to do. We were completely on foot once we parked in their garage.
The price was a bit steep.

The location to UChicago was good. It was also easy to get the train into downtown.
It was pretty average for the cost. Breakfast was below average. Frozen fruit!!

clean. Great location. nice breakfast. most staff were
pleasant and helpful.
I was charged for my entire 3 night stay when I checked in and they wouldn’t let me split the charges between 2 credit cards. I then had to use my debit card which was inconvenient for me.
I felt like Hyatt considers this a budget property as there were no frills but it was still expensive.

The location was good and staff friendly
The gym was on the smaller side but had what I needed.
4.1
The room was spacius, clean.
Difficult to see signage. Sign placed too high and on corner of building. Key card
failed to open the door on numerous occasions.
