It was close to Joshua Tree...very neat, clean,
fun colors...happy place to stay in the desert ...close to J Tree and all the fun artsy places.
Sky's the limit Observatory is close and great place to see the stars.

Room location and cleanliness is great. Expect what you paid for though. Owner was very friendly to talk to and helped with what I needed. I stayed for two days to visit Joshua Tree National Park. The hotel is very conveniently located to the much less busy Twenty Nine Palms entrance.
Nothing as such. The hotel entrance and driveway is kinda steep and unmaintained, but nothing that is terrible or inaccessible. As I said, expect what you paid for and it is great.

There were no redeeming qualities about this property or the proprietor.
I don’t need fancy accommodations, but I expect cleanliness. The room was dirty. The windows were filthy, the bathroom was dirty, thin and stained sheets, the coverlet on the bed smelled, no mattress pads, and there was a film on all the doorknobs. The floor was also dirty.

A rather unusual and unique place, definitely enjoyed it.
Some minor maintenance issues, like getting the shower to work properly and entering the motel from the west bound 62 is illegal and can be dangerous

The owner/man at the front desk was is very nice, the location is great and the view very nice ! Also appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the bench and little stool table outside on the porch to watch the view
Pillows were extremely not comfortable, beds so so, we didnt have microwave in room as advertised and overall it wasnt top clean (foot step traces on the bathroom mat...) so i think it's a little too expensive for what it is currently. (the whole place would need a good reno). We paid 113 dollars and had way better rooms for 20-30$ less. But it was ok

The service, the unique bungalows and the shower.

Location was nice and the room was charming and had no pests. Good bang for your buck with fair pricing for the space. Rooms were massive compared to most inns
The comforter had hair on it and pet hair was throughout the room. There was also not any hot water but there was a windstorm that wiped out power to the area during the night so that's neither here nor there.

I’ve stayed at this property once before, and my first experience was great. Everything was newly remodeled; spacious bathroom, little kitchen area. No complaints at all! This second time around, things weren’t quite as clean as before. Apparently a new cleaning person was hired, and so far they’re not doing a bath up job. Oh well. I would still stay here again.

The location is great
There were no hair dryers in the room there's no local phones and the room is all tiled and it's cold you have to keep turning on the heat no insulation in the the walls of the building... The rooms could be remodeled they're kind of old!! An outdated

The room is huge and creatively decorated, vibrant colours all around, very Indian subcontinent vibe. We had a full fridge with freezer compartment- excellent- and a desk in the room.
the property is located on top of a hill, and thus the views over nighttime 29 Palms and the sunrise are spectacular.
Bathroom has a toilet with inbuilt baby seat, which I find very thoughtful of the owners😘
The price is superb for what you are getting.
Overall, it was little things:
we couldn’t get the tv to work late in the evening and then couldn’t find the owner (it was after hours tbh)to fix it
the property is a bit hard to access since it is just after the top of a hill on a highway and you are not too sure about traffic…

The location is good. Close to Joshua Tree's entrance. Close to restaurants.
Air condition is very loud. The room is not clean especially the bathroom. No place to put toiletries. No closet space or place to hang clothes. Chairs are uncomfortable to sit in.

The host was absolutely lovely. the place felt remote and out in the desert which was nice but it was also on the edge of 29 palms so very conveniently located. The bed was comfortable and the room came with air con, a fridge, microwave and coffee etc. The room also had a bathtub. The room was painted inside and out with super bright colours which really brightened my mood.
The place is in the middle of renovation and you can tell this, but it wouldn't put me off coming back. The water out of the taps didn't get very cold but i put some water in the freezer for 20 mins and it was perfect. I was hoping to have a desk in my room but didn't get one, so if you want a desk maybe ring up to ask for a room. I didn't mind too much and could have asked to swap and i'm sure the host wouldn't have minded at all.

we arrived much later than expected yet it was not an issue whatsoever. the key was waiting for us and the owner happened to be up as well; greeted us very kindly. room was clean and very convenient for the weekend at Joshua tree. the owner or manager was a wonderful person to chat with and had much insight into the area, it's uniqueness and spirituality of Joshua tree. it was an excellent stay and id stay there agin without hesitation.
the place has individual cabins and a rooms available that are all colors of the rainbow! the place is a classic desert motel that you will enjoy for sure.
pool is under renovation; perhaps a tad early in the season to swim anyway.

The proprietors were friendly and helpful.
The room had an odor that was not clean. The property is being renovated but there was no mention of that when I made the reservation. The parking area was torn up.

Motel rooms are extremely nice, spacious and with the colorful painting they feel pretty unique. The room was probably the biggest I have ever been in a motel with a small kitchen+like space with a microwave a huge fridge and a table.
Definitely a much better view and experience than most of the other motel chains I have been to.
It could have been cleaner.
Not to say that the room was dirty but it was not clean as thoroughly as it could have been. There were some minor indications such as shoe prints still visible on the floor and the coffee leftover in the coffee machine.
Overall not something major

Very bright little motel a short drive from the entrance to Joshua Tree park. Everything is spanking new (motel is still under renovation). Beds are super comfy! Bathroom could be bigger - it's a tight squeeze, but is clean and functional. The garbage bucket was missing in the room or around the property, but the manager promised they would put one in.
see above.

We were delayed in our trip, due to the weather by one day, and had to adjust the dates of our reservation. I called the hotel and the staff were very understanding and adjusted our date of arrival and did not charge us for the day we could not arrive by. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a very nice stay. The staff were all so friendly. The cleaning staff were helpful in making our stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. I was very satisfied with the accommodations, and I will stay here again if I come thru 29 Palms in the future.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Joshua tree park. The owner is also very nice.
Th room was not very clean, there was a lot of dust and some insects behind and underneath the beds.
