Incredible staff and property to give the perfect cape experience

This is the cutest BnB you’ll stay in. I cannot say enough just how lovely the staff was. The food was amazing, they provided great little snacks, the rooms and the property itself were adorable. I think this is the quintessential cape experience. I would come back here 10 more times.

Winter Weekend

Comfortable, detail oriented , elegant and the most gracious hosts make this a special place to choose for a stay on Cape Cod. Exceeded any expectations and perhaps the best experience of a bed and breakfast / inn category I have had. The breakfasts are served in beautiful surrounding and alternate by day sweet or spicy , perfection!

The location as expected with a historic house is close to busy street but this was a given and not unexpected. Our 2 nd floor bedroom was removed and in no way impacted sleep or visit.

Superb

Dream experience in an historical inn. Carol welcomed us warmly even after the usual check-in hours and gave us some nice suggestions to make our stay in Cape Cod even better. Breakfast brought the experience to a different level: it was just amazing, everyday something different and freshly made. South Yarmouth is maybe not the most exclusive location on the Cape but we did actually like that the inn was in a quiter location. Besides, you can reach many different spots in a very short time. Room was very pretty and unique, really liked the style and attention to details. Lovely touch to leave some candies on the bed as a nice welcome for the guests. Finally, personal highlight for me: very soft towels and bath robe.

Gracious hosts, comfortable accommodations, centrally located location, delicious breakfasts.

Breakfasts were excellent. Carol is a tremendous chef and made us delicious breakfasts each morning as well as baked treats during the afternoon. Service was excellent, very accommodating to our needs.

Lovely B&B

The hosts put a lot of thoughts into decorations and breakfast. Like the vintage vibe and skylight lit coffee area. Had a little mis-communication with booking.com’s booking, thought the queen size bed room we booked had the spa bath but it didn’t, it came with a great new shower. But the host was able to switch us to another room without charges. Both days’ Breakfast were amazing, the host customized it for my husband the second day knowing he doesn’t eat any fruit.

You can hear church bell every hour. Not so bad the second night after you get used to it.

Exceptional

There's nothing much else to say besides everything was perfect about our stay from check-in to check-out. The room was lovely, the breakfasts were delicious, the property is in a great location on the cape, and the hosts Carol and Jeff were beyond friendly and accommodating. We had such a great time we'll absolutely be staying here in the future when we can make it back to Cape Cod.

This inn is charming and the innkeeper is friendly and very helpful.

Carol, the innkeeper, was very friendly and went the extra mile by getting us a dinner reservation at a hard-to-get, excellent local restaurant in a prime beachside location.

There was nothing we had complaints about.

Lovely Cape Cod Sojourn

We were there for four mornings, and breakfast was excellent (creative and delicious) each day. Alternated between sweet and savory each day. Dennis and Carol are excellent hosts, creating a friendly family-like atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, and there was lots of space to relax on the grounds. The Inn is centrally located for various Cape activities.

No complaints.

Our stay was wonderful. The Captain Farris House is an excellent choice for a place to stay.

The Captain Farris House in S. Yarmouth, MA was a fantastic place to stay. The Inn was very clean, the bed was very comfortable with very luxurious linens. The inn was very clean. The food was superb. Carol and Jeff (owners) were incredibly friendly, and so helpful with info on local dining, biking, hiking and kayaking places. We would absolutely plan to stay there again in the future. The free on site parking is also a huge bonus!

Charming B&B at Captain Farris House

It was a clean, friendly, charming atmosphere. Location was great to beaches, restaurants, hiking, mini golf, shopping. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. The jacuzzi tub in our room was very relaxing and enjoyable.

The only issue at first was hearing the traffic outside the bedroom window. Our room was located right on the main rd. We got used to it and it wasn’t a prob sleeping.

Great breakfast, accsess to coffee in the evening was very nice. Parking was close to the house.

Everything was just right. Would be our 1st choice if we come to the Cape again.
